Short visit to the Mosel area

Comfortable, spacy room with a small relaxing balcony. Attentive staff. Nice decor. Good restaurant and well prepared dishes.

Unfriendly staff, but a nice location

Nice cosy rooms, in a rustic pretty building located close to the river Rhine. The owner herself spoke little English but was very friendly.

The other staff was rather unprofessional and rude on occasion. Most barely spoke English and begrudgingly so. The breakfast bread was stale, possibly from the day before.

Absoluter Wohlfühlort

Die Winzerscheune im kleinen Moselort Valwig ( Cochem ist ca 3, 5 km entfernt und es geht ein Weg direkt an der Mosel entlang, oder man nimmt den Bus, Verbindung auch samstags und sonntags) ist ein absoluter Wohlfühlort! Hotel und Restaurant sind inhabergeführt und das sieht und spürt man überall als Gast, sehr geschmackvolles und super gepflegtes Ambiente, sehr engagiertes und zuvorkommendes Team, ein Frühstücksbuffet, das sooo vielfältig und lecker war, kurz gesagt, wir haben ein tolles entspanntes Wohlfühlwochenende in der Winzerscheune verbracht. Sehr gerne wieder!

Geweldig hotel

Opnieuw in dit pareltje overnacht. Heerlijke moderne en ruime kamer met een klein balkon. 's Avonds lekker gegeten in het restaurant. Bij mooi weer kan dat ook in hun besloten tuin. Het personeel heeft hart voor de zaak en je voelt je echt welkom. Het ontbijt is prima in orde. Eigen parkeerplaats aan de achterkant van het hotel. Valwig is een klein plaatsje op een paar autominuten van Cochem. We komen er graag weer een keer!

Tijdens ons verblijf van 4 dagen is er niet gepoetst. Tegen bijbetaling kon dit wel. Bij zeer warme temperatuur is het warm op de kamer aangezien er geen airco is.

Tolles Hotel in ruhiger Lage

Sehr nettes Personal, leckeres Frühstück und Abendessen. Unser Hotelzimmer war sehr sauber und gut ausgestattet. Kostenlos stand ein Parkplatz zur Verfügung und für unsere Räder eine Fahrradgarage mit Lademöglichkeit für's E-Bike . Trailer könnte dort auch untergestellt werden.

Es gibt eigentlich nichts, was uns groß gestört hat. Allerdings wäre ein kleiner Kühlschrank und ein Wasserkocher auf dem Zimmer toll gewesen .

Wunderschöner Kurzurlaub

Wir waren ziemlich früh da und es wurde uns sehr freundlich vorab schon alles gezeigt und erklärt. Ganz toll war, dass wir das Zimmer aussuchen konnten, ob 1./2. Etage, mit Blick auf die Mosel oder auf den Apolloweg. Wir haben uns für den Moselblick entschieden. Das nächste Mal wüwrde ich aber den Bergblick wählen, weil man da sehr viel zu beobachten hat. Das Zimmer war sehr groß mit Boxspringbett, worauf wir gut geschlafen haben. Ganz toll war, dass zusätzlich eine Dreier-Couch mit zwei Stühlen und einem Couchtisch vorhanden war. Das Badezimmer war auch schön groß mit genug Abstellmöglichkeiten, eine große, ebenerdige, behindertengerechten Dusche und schöne Handtücher. Es war alles sehr geschmackvoll. Es gibt auch eine schöne Terasse, die wir aber wegen der Hitze nicht genutzt haben. Das Restaurant war klimatisiert und wir haben auch dort gegesssen, sehr schön und bequem, da braucht man nicht mehr zu suchen, wo man essen geht. Die Speisen sind lecker. Das Frühstück-Bufett ist hervorragend, es mangelt wirklich an nichts. Da kann man schlemmen, wenn man es denn schafft. Der Kaffee schmeckt auch. So kann der Tag beginnen. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Es hat uns alles sehr gut gefallen und wir werden auf Fälle wiederkommen. Ein schöner Landgasthof in unmittelbarer Nähe des Apolloweges, der oberhalb des Weinberges entlang läuft. Leider haben wir keinen Apollofalter gefunden, der zu dieser Zeit dort rumflattert und der dem Weg seinen Namen gegeben hat.

Heerlijke vakantie in een Fantastisch Hotel !

Zeer mooie propere grote kamer met balkon en ruime badkamer. Lekker ontbijt en heerlijk gegeten in de mooie gezellige tuin van het restaurant met vlugge vriendelijke bediening ! Gratis privé parking en berging voor fietsen voorzien met stopcontacten voor elektrische fietsen. Je kan ook een gastenkaart bekomen zodat je gratis met de bus naar Cochem of Beilstein kan gaan en parkeerkosten kan vermijden ( bushalte op 200 meter en elk half uur een bus ). Super Vriendelijke eigenaars en personeel ! Heb zelfs een kleine attentie gekregen bij het ontbijt op men verjaardag. Hier kom ik zeker nog eens terug 👍

Er is geen koelkastje op de kamer maar er is wel een automaat beschikbaar in de gang waar je koffie, frisdranken, bier, snacks kan bekomen. Zorg wel voor voldoende kleingeld want geen kaartbetaling mogelijk !

Fantastisch

De ontvangst was gelijk heel gemoedelijk en gastvrij, de kamer was mooi en het balkonnetje heerlijk om op te zitten. De Fietsgarage is een goede ruimte waar je ook de gelegenheid hebt om je fiets aan de lader te zetten. Het ontbijt was Heerlijk ,Het avondeten was Voortreffelijk en zeer smaakvol en goed bereid. Heerlijk gegeten !! Vriendelijk en leuk personeel. We hebben van alles genoten . Zeker een aanrader waard....

Erg mooi modern hotel in een rustig dorpje dicht bij Cochem.

Wat een prachtig hotel! Het is vanaf 2018 grondig vernieuwd en dat is te zien. Mooie schone kamer met een balkon, goed bed en fijne badkamer. Het ontbijt is prima. Je kunt er ook 's avonds in het restaurant eten in een mooie tuin. Het personeel is allemaal even vriendelijk. Het plaatsje Valwig is niet groot en erg rustig. Cochem ligt op een paar autominuten afstand. Voor ons eentje om te onthouden.

Wir hatten sehr schöne und entspannte Tage, wir kommen gerne wieder

Die Zimmer waren sehr modern und sauber, das Frühstück war sehr lecker, das Personal sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit, die Lage war ideal, direkt an der Mosel, gute Busverbindung nach Cochem

Leider gab es keine Wasserkocher auf dem Zimmer und es gab einen Smart TV, jedoch konnte dieser nicht genutzt werden

Sehr gutes Frühstück in angenehmer Atmosphäre. Die Lage des Hotels war sehr gut,unmittelbar an der Mosel und dem Fahrradweg gelegen.Abends konnte man seine Fahrräder in eine Garage stellen und anschließend das gute Essen im Restaurant genießen.
