Very nice stay at this hotel.

Nice family run hotel. Clean rooms and good breakfast. We had a room at the front with a balcony with great views of the castle. Car parking at the back of the hotel. Nice walk along the river pavement to the centre of Cochem

The windows don’t keep out the road noise. If you are a light sleeper it could be an issue. There are rooms with balconies facing the car park which would be quieter.

Perfectly situated from Cochem

Great little hotel managed directly by owner Elisabeth. She is available throughout the day and helps with any kind of requests with a smile. A bit away from Cochem town but the walk to the town is amazing. And the view of Cochem castle from the river facing rooms is mesmerizing! Parking is free, breakfast is included, what else do you need! Breakfast is almost the same everyday, but there are just enough options. Penny supermarket is only 100 meters. There is a children's park directly in front.

Wifi was very weak, I understood from the owner it's weak everywhere in Cochem.

Loved this cute place.

We loved our view on the river and the castle. It was very nice starting and ending our day on the lovely balcony. Also the reception lady is very sweet and wonderfull.

Location with great views of Cochem Castle!

We had a wonderful stay here with great views of Cochem Castle from the balcony 24/7. The hotel is in 10-15 minutes walk to the nearest restaurants, shops, supermarket, river cruise, etc. The hotel has parking on site (in the back). The staff were very friendly and helpful. Our room was clean and other amenities were good as advertised here. Breakfast was good. Definitely recommend, thank you.

It was so relaxing and we loved it!

We loved our balcony overlooking the Mosel River! Elizabeth the owner was very, very helpful and friendly. The hotel was right along the river and we could walk into Cochem or ride bikes. We could rent the bikes close by. The breakfasts that Elizabeth provided were wonderful - fresh rolls, meats and cheeses for the rolls, yogurts, fruits, homemade jams, our own coffee pot each morning at our table. Eggs - some days scramble, some days boiled. The road is right in front of the hotel. During the day it can be busy, but the traffic never bothered us at night. There are rooms available on the back of the hotel, but then no view of the valley. We loved our relaxing week at the Hotel Klassen!!

Welcoming atmosphere, clean and comfortable.

We had a very warm welcome from our hostess and felt right at home. While the interior seems a little dated in terms of the design, it is so well kept and maintained that it seems almost new. The bathroom was newly renovated, everything was spotless, there was good coffee and homemade jam for breakfast. We’d be happy to stay here again.

Wonderful stay

This hotel is aprox 10 mins from the center of Cochem, it is on the upper part of the area, and we preferred it cause it’s a nice quite area. We had a non-lake view room and it was very quiet, we stayed here for 5 nights. Close to the hotel there is a supermarket and a shop that sells all kind of stuff, from pillows to house items etc. All covid 19 regulations were followed and we felt really safe. The host is super helpful and when we asked if we can have the pillows changed (because they were very soft) she did so immediately and each morning she kept asking us if we slept well. She also speaks very good English. The breakfast was buffet style and only two were allowed next to the buffet and you have to wear a mask at all times! Both the view and the breakfast were literally amazing! In cochem there are plenty of restaurants were to eat but make sure you book in advance as they were almost all fully booked! We had no issue with the parking and the host also offered us an alternative should we find the parking full. If one day I will return to this wonderful place, I will stay again here! Well done!

Sehr schöner Urlaub, haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und erholt.

Super Lage, direkt an der Mosel, nicht weit zum Zentrum, sehr schöner Blick zur Reichsburg. Frühstück war sehr reichhaltig und super. Selbstgemachte Marmelade war sehr lecker. Frau Klasen ist eine sehr nette und zuvorkommende Person.

Goed verblijf voor een aantal dagen Cochem

Vriendelijke gastvrouw. Ruime kamer. Hete douche met krachtige straal. Balkon met uitzicht op de Moezel en kasteel. Goed ontbijt met uitzicht op de Moezel. Parkeren naast het hotel is echt een pré. Hotel is 10 min lopen van het centrum van Cochem. Je loopt langs de Moezel er naar toe.

Twee personen tegelijk in de badkamer is wat krap.

Super Hotel in schöner und ruhiger Lage.

Sehr sauberes und geräumiges Zimmer. Die Hotelbetreiberin war sehr aufmerksam und erfüllt den Gästen jeden Wunsch. Eins ist sicher, wir kommen wieder 😀

Sehr familiär und auch geborgen

Die Atmosphäre ist schön "Familiär" und man hat guten Kontakt zur Wirtin. Sie ist stets bereit, Hinweise und Tipps sowie Anregungen zu geben. Das Frühstück ist reichhaltig und immer frisch. Die Zimmer sind sehr gepflegt und geräumig.

Was generell, egal wo man sich aufhält, ist der Strassenlärm. Alle Hotelzimmer mit Blick auf dem Fluss haben in Sehl und Cochem das Problem dass man auch auf den Hauptdurchgangssstrasse blicken muss. Busse, LKWs, PKWs, und Motorräder fahren vorbei - mit entsprechenden Lärmpegel.

Sollte es mich nochmal zur Mosel ziehen, würde ich dort gern wieder einchecken.

Kleines sehr sauberes Hotel. Die nette Besitzerin gibt Tipps bei Nachfrage. Beim Frühstücksbuffet war alles da und wurde ständig kontrolliert und aufgefüllt. Hervorzuheben sind die selbstgemachten Marmeladen.

Zum Zentrum ein Stück zu laufen. Nur von Interesse, wenn man nicht gut zu Fuß ist.

Wunderschöne Tage an der Mosel

Tolles Frühstück, alles vorhanden was das Herz begehrt. Frisch zubereitetes Rührei, gute Käse- und Wurstauswahl, frisches Obst, Müsli, Joghurt, Quark..... Ein guter Start in den Tag. Frau Klasen ist sehr zuvorkommend und freundlich, Gastgeberin mit Herz!Gute Getränkeauswahl im Kühlschrank für gemütliche Abende auf dem Balkon mit Blick auf die Mosel und die Reichsburg. Die Altstadt erreicht man nach ca. 15 Minuten Fußweg entlang der Mosel.

Toller Aufenthalt,empfehlenswert !

Sehr schöne ,familiäre Atmosphäre . Frau Klasen ist eine sehr liebe und aufmerksame Betreiberin, welche auch noch tierlieb ist :). Lage ist super,direkt an der Mosel und man ist schnell in der Altstadt und man hat die Bushaltestelle fast vor der Tür. Definitiv zu empfehlen.

Das Frühstück hätte etwas abwechslungsreicher sein können & es wäre schön gewesen,wenn man in dem Restaurant hätte auch zu Mittag essen können. Sonst alles super.

Knus hotel op super locatie

Klein maar fijn hotel. Er heerst een gemoedelijke sfeer en heeft met Elisabeth een hele fijne gastvrouw. Het is weliswaar een wat ouder hotel maar wij vonden het er erg knus. Locatie was ook top.10 minuutjes lopen langs het water en je staat midden in cochem.

Urige Unterkunft in toller Lage

Sehr, sehr nette Gastgeberin, aufmerksam, hilfsbereit und zuvorkommend. Die Lage, direkt an der Mosel, ist hervorragend, bis zum Zentrum Cochem etwa 1km. Kostenlose Parkplätze direkt hinter dem Haus und abschließbarer Kellerraum mit Lademöglichkeiten für E-Bike inclusive. Sehr gutes Frühstück und Getränke gegen Selbstbedienung erhältlich. Sehr saubere Zimmer

Een super goed hotel wat aan onze verwachtingen voldeed

Een perfecte locatie dicht bij het centrum en met een prachtig uitzicht op de moezel vanaf een heerlijk groot balcon ,wat ook nog eens een keer niet pal in de zon staat ,wij hebben enorm genoten

Wij waren toen het er super warm was en een airco of een ventilator was wel welkom geweest,nu hadden wij zelf al een grote ventilator mee genomen en daar waren we maar wat blij mee, wij waren er een week ,en wij hadden ook onze tuinstoelen met kussens meegenomen waar we ook blij mee waren,want vaak op de balcons van hotels staan er maar een paar schamele stoeltjes,wat hier trouwens niet het geval was.
