Good hotel for a short break
Breakfast buffet was of good quality. Same for the dinner. Friendly staff / owners. There was a small dog that wanted to play :-).
Overall rating is good (not excellent, better than sufficient). The room was small, but sufficient for 2. The location is in a narrow of river Mosel, meaning that sun sets early.

Nice hotel for transit.
Nicely positioned on by the Mosel River, the hotel is old but well maintained and very clean. Breakfast was good but more like a cheap hotel breakfast rather than something fancy. The salmon for breakfast was a nice addition, my girlfriend like it. I had the scrambled eggs and those were also tasty and well prepared. People were also very friendly and communicative and allowed us to check in 2 hours later than written on Booking page.
The old vibe of the hotel felt a bit strange to me but the whole than was like that and this is a matter or preferences. The smell was also of old, but everything was very clean and felt comfortable.

Superb
If you're looking to relax and unwind, this is the place. Very clean and quaint, with the nicest inn-keepers. Though our plan was to see Cochem and Burg Eltz, we were treated to much more...quaint villages, nice people, serenity! A weekend well-spent!
We wanted to spend a few days in Mosel to see Cochem and Koblenz. This place is not a short leisure drive to either. No issue if yu ou have a car.

A mistake turned into a wonderful experience that we will do again.
The whole experience was unbelievable and great. Because of a mistake by booking.com we had no reservation at another hotel for our late night arrival. At the last minute from the train I booked Moselromantik in a different location. We arrived at a remote train stop (no taxis) and the owner and Chef, Curt came to get us . His restaurant was closed and he offered to make us dinner which was fantastic. This is a charming hotel and the staff are superb and the food was fantastic.
Booking.com giving us a reservation that the other hotel said was not available 3 days before we booked it.
