Good location but there are better options in Bellagio

The location was superb.

HOWEVER there is NO parking so if you have a car you will need to park it quite some distance away and walk back into town. Not so easy with luggage! Staff were a bit jaded with tourism, we felt. The dining room felt tired and staff were not overly helpful. Breakfast was average. No fresh fruit juice. The room was very small. The pool at the back was ok but not easy to access. In addition you were charged 10E for a pool towel! Not a deposit.... payable! Used by tours. Lots of americans.

One of very few restaurants RIGHT on the lake.

Loved having a pool & not having to climb up stairs to get to our accommodation The lakeside restaurant was great.

Did not like having to ph reception for THEM to adjust our room air conditioning. They also seemed to turn it off during the night.

Unfortunately the guests are not allowed to adjust the thermostat in the rooms. We were kind of hot during the night. The beds we had in our room were very hard and uncomfortable.

The location and the pool were nice

We arrived and the elevator was not working and front desk didn’t assist us with the luggage. We arrive to the room and we didn’t have toilet paper nor paper tissues. The customer service at the front desk was very bad. Breakfast was nice and the service was better than front desk.

Not a 3-star hotel

The staff tried when possible to meet our needs. They were always attentive and polite. When we were in a room that was very loud near the front of the hotel, they helped us find a quieter room.

The overall comment I would have for this hotel is the Management/Owners are incredibly cheap. I have never stayed in an alleged 3-star hotel in my international travels where I had to buy my own facial tissue, adequate shower gel, and body lotion. Even the shampoo provided was in very small paper packets. There were no hand towels, only linen towels for the bidet and two bath towels for two people. The breakfast was adequate, but the bakery items were obviously not removed from the offerings from day to day until they were very stale. Finally, the beds could not be harder if they were simply boards covered with a sheet and a blanket.

A few days living in style.

The most wonderful setting and room overlooking the lake. We had a dual aspect room and weather was brilliant. Housekeeping was the top notch and loved the Art Nouveau atmosphere.

Excellent. If we had not already booked a nearby apartment, we would have stayed longer.

The staff, and location were excellent, the architecture of the hotel was beautiful, the hotel was spotlessly clean. Rooms were large and airy, parquet floors beautifully clean. The breakfast was good, great selection for a 3 star hotel. The location couldn’t be bettered, right on the front, close to the ferry terminal. The restaurant, which is across the road serves authentic Italian cuisine. I had the lasagna which was as close to tasting like my mothers (she’s Italian and makes the best lasagna) as I’ve tasted anywhere.

The location is perfect - just a couple of minutes to both ferry terminals of Bellagio. The room was spacious. The views from the window were breath-taking. The staff were friendly. Cleanliness was to a very high standard both in the lobby, stairs etc as well as in the room.

The breakfast can do with better options. Wi-fi was a bit up and down. The rooms didn't have a kettle to make tea which is a standard for most hotels

I enjoyed the whole experience.celebrating my daughter’s 40th birthday.the scenery from lake como is amazing.the only one problem was the journey.we traveled on our own.next time go on a package.where you get picked up from airport.

Comfortable simple but not Splendide and in a great location

As a seasoned traveler, this was not the 4star experience I was expecting. Though the room was clean and we had a beautiful lake view, it was basic small room where the decor did not match the name of the hotel. It was in fact simple. The toilet lid came off every time it was opened or closed. As a consequence we got moved to a room with a balcony where all boxes were ticked. However, the shower was not fully functional. The staff were accommodating but it seemed as if they had heard all these complaints before and had resigned to the facts. The lift is small and dated, felt it was safer and quicker to use the stairs. Didn’t really get time to tour the garden or pool but the location is excellent being opposite one of the piers. Breakfast options were the usual hotel continental choices but a smaller range.

Bellisimo Bellagio

Wonderful welcome from Gloria, room was delightful as was breakfast, unfortunately there was a lot of noise outside on each of the 3 nights we stayed . Bellagio was wonderful and easy to explore and get to the surrounding areas easily via the busy ferry systems.

Bins being collected outside at 4 am was very noisy.

Regular stay in Bellagio with my husband to chill during the prolonged trip.

The building and the location are great. We did like the historic vibe in the building. The pool was a nice touch, just the sun beds are a bit too old. Overall enjoyed the experience.

The beds are super hard and super old, thus the 4th night was pain. Personally, I was missing normal duvet, there was only a cover sheet. The breakfast every day was the same, would be nicer a bit of change and some vegetables.

Great location. Definitely pay for a view if the room is available. No hills to climb with luggage. Super easy to get to

View of the lake was fantastic. Location is fantastic. We kept our door/window facing the lake open at night. Super quiet in the late night and vibrant but not loud in the morning and early evening.

The sheets and bed spread were a little scratchy compared to other hotels and our sheets at home. And the bed was very firm. But we adapted to both quickly.
