A nearly perfect place to stay on Lake Como.

This was our second time staying at this hotel. We would not consider staying any place else in Bellagio. The hotel is perfectly located near the ferries to other towns on Lake Como. There are plenty of excellent restaurants within easy walking distance.. The facilities are beautiful. The rooftop bar and lounge provides a wonderful view of the lake. While we did not use it on this visit, the spa is wonderful, with excellent facilities, providing a great place to relax.. Rooms are very comfortable and immaculately clean. The staff is friendly and helpful. We would especially recognize Chiara on the front desk who always greeted us warmly and made sure our stay was wonderful. We look forward to returning many times in the future.

The location is great. The spa was a surprise - well thought out and I visited almost everyday.

Would recommend Hotel du Lac to friends and family.

We had a large terrace with a wonderful view of Lake Como. The location of the hotel was a bit of a problem as we arrived by car and had to manoeuvre our way through very narrow pedestrian streets but our welcome on arrival was wonderful. The room was a good size with lots of storage. Breakfast had everything you could possibly want.

The location is perfect the staff are genuinely helpful and the whole vibe is incredibly postitive

The elevator is slow and easier to walk the stairs many times - this didn’t bother me but could bother those with mobility issues. BUT if u do have mobility issues Bellagio in general is not the best place for u- steps are everywhere!

The very best world class accommodations and finest dining!

This hotel and restaurant were truly exceptional. We have stayed in many beautiful hotels and dined in fine restaurants around the world, but this experience is above and beyond all expectations. The owners and staff were clearly well seasoned and anticipated our every need, but went above this in the manner of care and concern shown to us and our friends. I booked this hotel for my wife and I based on reviews as well as the recommendations of personal contacts. I then advised our group of ten to book it as well. The rooms were wonderful, the location was absolutely perfect, the amenities left nothing to ask for. In particular- we all dined together in the restaurant and it was indeed a gourmet’s feast. The flavors, the presentation, the ambiance and the service exceeded most of the Michelin starred restaurants we’ve enjoyed. Look no further than the Hotel Du Lac when booking for a stay in Bellagio. This hotel is the primo property in one of the most beautiful places in the world. Needless to say we will return!

Best place in Bellagio.

A wonderful family-run hotel in an ideal location, right opposite the ferry station. We had a truly memorable stay here. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by Daniele, one of the owners, who was exceptional in every way. He not only made our check-in seamless but also went out of his way to ensure we had everything we needed. He kindly reserved us a table at their restaurant, which turned out to be an absolute highlight of our trip. The food was outstanding – without doubt the best we had in Bellagio – and meeting the chef made it even more special. The combination of warm hospitality, comfortable rooms, and exceptional dining made this hotel a real gem. We would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Bellagio and look forward to returning ourselves.

Amazing location, as long as you're ok with very large crowds outside the hotel. (which is everywhere is Bellagio, Varenna, and Menaggio. Hotel was amazing. Clean, good spa, and great breakfast.

Wonderful stay

The hotel is located in front of the ferry station. We had a lake view room, the view was amazing. Even though there was a lot of noise coming from ships and the busy street, windows were soundproof, and the AC was working perfectly ensuring good rest in the night. The breakfast was wonderful, the restaurant was also a good one. The room was clean, the staff was very friendly.

Very pleasant stay

Perfectly located hotel right in the middle of the promenade. Great staff, always welcomed by a smiling face at the reception. Similar to the breakfast team, very helpful and always available. It’s evident the hotel is the pride and joy of the family that owns and operates this venue. There is also an onsite spa offering a dry and wet sauna as well as a jacuzzi. Hotel guest can use daily for an hour, this was a great addition as it rained 3 out of our 5 days stay. The only thing I must mention is the restaurant onsite, including room service and bar drinks at the top end of pricing however the menu isn’t at the top end of variety. The gym is also at a neighbouring hotel.

Simply perfect. Location, comfort, staff, food fabulous!

Amazing hotel, right on the lake. Stunning views, everything central. Comfortable beds, room spacious and had everything needed. The most beautiful roof top terrace and breakfast room with views to take your breath away. Such a nice start and end to our day. The staff were also amazing, nothing was too much trouble and they were so helpful planning our route to the airport on the bus, ferry etc. we are in the restaurant and whilst a small menu (I’m pescatarian and fussy) the food was Devine!! As were the cocktails! We wish we had stayed longer and most definitely will be back. Thank you.

A beautiful and comfortable stay in Bellagio

The location is so convenient. Everything is within walking distance. There is a space to park your car if you drive. The hotel is clean and well taken care of. The views from the hotel are stunning. The ferry is right in front of the hotel and all the shops are around. The breakfast is great. The staff is kind and helpful. The hotel and staff are dog friendly. A very comfortable stay!
