Antico Pozzo Apartment

The room was a very good size for 3 people

Great location, on one of the historic narrow streets and lots of restaurants nearby. Straight down the steps (maybe 30 steps) and you're on the lake front. It's 9 minutes walk from the Bellagio ferry stop. The main square is about 15 steps upwards and 2 minutes to the right. There are eateries and gelato all around 🙂 We stayed in the apartment with a double bed and sofa bed, small table and kitchenette, with a private bathroom. The beds and linen were lovely quality.

The room itself has air conditioning, but it's not in the best working condition, and 17 degrees is definitely more like 26 degrees! There are a few things that need attention, such as the boiler being noisy when you want hot water, lights above the basin in the bathroom not working, and if you were really wanting to cook yourself you might struggle with the amount of pots, pans and plates. We ate out, so it didn't bother us. Everything was reported to the owner and they got back to us immediately and apologised and said they were aware. We didn't have the coffee machine as indicated in the inventory and you just CAN'T have Nescafé sachets (as provided) when in Italy so I asked the owners if they could provide fresh coffee from their adjoining restaurant, which they were happy to do, free of charge. Thank you so much for that - it was fabulous 🙂
