The apartment was clean, comfortable and had everything we needed. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The location was a simple walk to the main town, quite a few stairs / hill but to be expected considering the area. This stay was great value for money

Beautiful place with view of the lake.

Walk to the town a bit far. Stairs coming back

The location is beautifull on top of Bellagio. You have a ver nice view over Lake Como and can reach Bellagio easily by food via the stairs. ( Not suited for People with restriction of motion). There is a parkinglot and a nice garden to chill in. The personal was very friendly and flexible on the Check-In.

On the other hand the features of the apartment itself are very lackluster. First the Kitchen, the fridge is way to loud to be in a one room apartment. On one of the Cupoard a door is loose. There are way to few dishes. The Dining table is very small. Second the house is very badly soundproofed. Third the bathroom, although it had every equipment you need, it wasn't looking clean and was bit moldy.

Beautiful views and easy to find

The host was so lovely and very easy to get in touch with! He was very flexible with check in times which was extra appreciated as we got stuck in the national train strikes which switched up our plans completely. He welcomed us to the property really nicely and gave us recommendations. The view is sweet and the area felt peaceful and bellagio as a base works great for reaching other areas.

For us, the location was harder to reach than expected (understandably not through the fault of the host). We knew there would be steps but had underestimated how many and how uncomfortable they are to walk up after a long day as they are cobbled and slanted. In general they’re okay, but with even one carry on case as a couple of under 30s, we struggled coming up and almost dreaded the walk back to the accommodation each night. It also has parts that aren’t well lit so we would have to use our phone torches (it generally felt safe but the dark is always a bit spooky in a new place!). Our other main issue was that the room felt extremely cold to us. The host kindly explained that central heating isn’t allowed in the region until Oct 15th (we stayed here early October) and provided an extra blanket but we really struggled at night with the temperature. As the floors are all tiled, they were very cold on our feet, and we weren’t made aware of the lack of heating so had not packed appropriate warm clothing for the night. If there had been a space heater, I think our stay would have been much much more enjoyable. It would also have been helpful if the host explained that we should close the shutters outside the windows at night to avoid being woken up by the sheer curtains. Might be common knowledge in Italy but didn’t cross our minds as tourists! In hindsight, I don’t think getting a room with a view is as important for a trip to lake como as your days are naturally filled with stunning views everywhere you walk in the towns. If you’re okay with taking on the steps and pack warmer than we did, it’s can be a lovely place to stay though!

I really appreciated their hospitality - the location is perfect. The room was amazing. Unbelievable views of the mountains and lakes. Would come back here every single time.

The views were very nice. Plenty of space in the apartment.

No air conditioning Loud dogs underneath and next door. Often woken up by hours of barking. Kitchen sponge was gross, water boiler for tea was very dirty inside, kitchen cabinets had an odd smell. Not enough toilet paper and minimal shampoo/body wash provided.
