Lovely apartment with excellent views in the heart of the city

Excellent location, amazing view, great place

Central location. Everything within 5 minutes walk. Couldn’t ask for more. Private parking space available. Could stare out the window forever.

Apart from the noise on Saturday night it was an excellent stay.

Location was excellent for any form of transport, view of harbour and being in the heart of the town.

Although warned of the live music from the pub and load conversations from the pub opposite, even using the ear plugs being provided it was still really intrusive. Secondary glazing on this side of the flat should be considered.. Property on second floor which gave excellent views but a challenge for older persons. Cleanliness was overalll excellent although the main bathroom sink water was slow to empty due to the hair in the plug hole, once remoed no problem.

I’d gladly go back and would highly recommend

Brilliant accommodation, very well equipped. The view is amazing and was within walking distance for all our needs, private parking 2 minutes away as a bonus too. Train station and ferry terminal behind us which was good as we travelled to Mull for the day.

Tiny gripe about location of the apartment bedrooms being directly across from the Clarendon Hotel and when trying to sleep while pub goers having a chat outside but didn’t go on too late. Earplugs supplied buy owner if that helps

The apartment was roomy, had an above average kitchen, had an ensuite, great view of the harbour, own designated car space, very hand to the ferry and shops.

Fantastic situation with great views. Everything is in walking distance of the apartment. Great layout and rooms were well equipped and comfortable.

Only negative was the pub opposite the bedrooms was noisy on the Friday and Saturday nights. However, ear plugs were provided and were very helpful and appreciated.

A really good choice. We had a great time and the apartment and location were a big part of that.

A great location in Oban with a superb view of the harbour and amenities (The local pub outside the bedrooms was a bit noisy until later but that would not stop me booking again). The fittings are well maintained. Not everything is super-new but it was very clean so it really was perfectly adequate. Parking was dedicated and host responsive to texts. Having looked at several very plush and more pricy properties I think we really did opt for a perfect choice that was very good indeed and made sure we had enough cash to have a great family time. I would certainly recommend.

The host supplied earplugs to cope with the noise from ‘The Clary’ Pub nearly. I don’t think any of the Karaoke Stars of Oban need to give up the day jobs quite yet!!

Superb apartment with great view. Close to many fine places to eat out.

Oban is a great place to use as a base to explore the Highlands and Islands. The apartment couldn't be better situated, within easy walking distance to many good restaurants. A very well appointed, spotlessly clean, generously sized apartment. We loved our stay here.

Beautiful Property

The view! What a great location. Handy for the ferry and shops and restaurants. The apartment itself was beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean. It had everything we needed and was extremely comfortable. We weren’t in the apartment much as the weather was so beautiful and suntn, but I could imagine it being lovely and cosy in bad weather. We thoroughly enjoyed staying here and would definitely return. Gemma was very helpful each time I contacted her.

We experienced a bit of noise outside on our first night from the pub opposite. People lingering outside until 1am. But that’s not a reflection on the property, just one of those things. This was fine for us but perhaps wouldn’t be ideal for a family with young children. Also we felt the close/communal hallway area could have been better lit at night as it was hard to see the stairs and could have been tricky for someone with reduced eyesight. These are minor quibbles in terms of the overall picture which was a fantastic experience.

Spacious with great facilities and very clean. The location was great and the view from the window was fantastic. Really enjoyed the apartment and the area.

The pub behind was quite noisy on the Friday and Saturday nights but not something which would stop me booking again in future.

Oban Holiday

Home from home very well equipped and fresh decor/furnishings - great central location with own parking space - lovely view of the town from the apartment - right next to train station and ferry terminal which was very handy - lots of places to eat within walking distance

Nothing we didnt like - only thing I would mention is that the apartment is two flights of stairs up and no lift so might be an issue for someone with limited mobility

Apartment spotless, beds very comfortable. Kitchen well supplied. Very spacious and the view when you got up in the morning was the best way to start the day. Gemma was nice enough to check in to make sure all was going OK.
