Lovely apartment with everything we needed. Clean, neat, tidy and modern just what we needed for our stay in Oban

Entrance to apartment was a bit dull and with door lying open it felt unsafe. A lot of stairs but manageable for most. Parking not easy as busy

Not advised re 3 flights stairs, some without handrails. Not suitable for those of limited mobility. No tea towel. Cutlery drawer dirty.

Spacious, light and clean. Close to everything but lovely and quiet. We were 2 families and we had more than enough privacy. Parking great. Loved the laundry machine. Know that it is on the third floor and the shower head is a bit weak.

we travelled as a family of 2 adults and 4 children, finding a property to accommodate our large numbers wasn't easy but this place ticked every box. 2 double beds in one room for the kids and one double for us. The flat has the most lovely decor and modern furniture. The kitchen is fully equipped with utensils and crockery. The rooms were all very spacious and the beds very comfortable and loads and loads of storage space throughout. We couldn't work the firestick on the tv as it wouldn't connect to the app, but that wasn't something we were expecting anyway, but would have been a bonus, plenty freeview channels to view. The heating is via 3 electric heaters, one in the bathroom, one in the hall and one in the living room. We worried we would be cold, but wow these heaters are extremely efficient and the flat was absolutely roasting in no time and had to turn them all off. I loved how there were plenty lamps around for ambient lighting, and the couch and swivel chair were super comfy. There was parking on the street, with a meter, that had to be topped up every 4 hours, we were advised by a neighbour that a new traffic warden was on site so be careful to keep up the payments. I see a lot of reviews mentioning the close, it was very clean and very well lit, yes it has 60 stone steps, but this is clearly stated on the listing, and wasnt a problem at all. The area is perfect, directly across from the local library, and a stones throw from central oban, with a stunning view at night of McCaigs Tower. We hope the host will have us back again the next time we are in the area.

the chest of drawers in the double room was a hazard for young children as wasn't attached to the wall so on opening a couple of top drawers it fell forward, but we didn't allow kids near it, not a major issue but maybe something for the host to consider. The hot water thermostat must be set very high, so the water was extremely hot. I had no idea how - if able- to turn it down so had to be carefull with the hot water taps and bath/shower, another thing for the host to maybe consider for safety. There was a few wee cleaning things we noticed - like under the couch and beds, and the microwave had old food gone mouldy inside, but the rest of the place was spotless! and the only reason we needed to go under the couch was to get a piece of the connect 4 game that slid under.

Perfect for our needs, we were very happy with this accomodation and the communication and setup overall was excellent.

Access information not given in a timely matter and in actuality received only after a request made by both phone and email. Access to apartment crucially not described. Had we known that access was via 60 (in many cases worn), steps, 40 which were without a hand rail, we would not have booked this apartment. The situation was such that, dispute having prepaid for this accommodation, it was not fit for our purpose causing us to incur additional accommodation costs by way of our staying in a nearby hotel.

Location was good - right opposite Oban harbour. Street parking was free - this is a big bonus

Very cold and unfriendly. Wall heater didn’t work. The only Toilet got blocked morning when we had to leave early for the ferry ….just managed to leave Third floor property - no lift. It’s ok but this wasn’t told on booking

For a self catering flat it was well equipped. Nice and modern and inside of flat was lovely. Thoughtful in layout and facilities especially in the kitchen and living room. Excellent shower. Overall a lovely place to stay.

It was on the third floor - and for us it was a bit of a challenge getting all the way up there with our cases and food etc, so recommend travelling light (or leave your main luggage in the car!) but on entry and once we got our breaths back, it was very welcoming. Appreciate as a rental it was sensible with furnishings, but having a rug on the laminate flooring in bedrooms and living room in the winter would make it more cosy. I personally found it cold in the bedroom as no heating there, and had to use a second duvet to stay warm. Lighting in bedroom was a bit limited, that could be improved. Bathroom would benefit from an extractor fan, as only way for steam to escape when using the (excellent) shower was to open the window and the weather was extremely cold when we stayed there! Rest of flat was excellent with the facilities. Although the key code was fine, having the 'plastic' loop on the set of keys made it difficult to place the keys back in the box but with some wiggling around managed to do it, so perhaps change that to a flat disc? Otherwise all fine.

Clean & modern apartment. Kitchen was well equipped. Location was amazing.

Lovely bright clean flat. Fresh decoration with comfy beds. 5 minute walk to the centre of Oban with parking outside flat. Communication with letting agent good. Would stay again.
