Convenient location short walk (15 minutes) from Melrose. Property on main road so quite noisy if windows open. Very comfortable and cosy and kitchen well stocked.
Bed a little firm but that is personal preference and partner was fine.

Beautiful. Very cozy really enjoyed our stay. My two sisters and I were visiting family so it was bliss to be in such a lovely home.

From the outset the owners were great. We easily found the place, our early arrival was no issue and the cottage was immaculate. We were super cosy and the owners dealt with a sticky door immediately. The short walk was delightful to Melrose and instantly started a lovely history to the place that included ancient Rome and all the way through to modern times with names like Robert The Bruce William Wallace and Sir Walter Scott. The Kitchen, lounge shower all were faultless and the bed was comfy too.
A corner shop or pub would have been the icing on the cake but Melrose was no further and within very easy walking distance
