Weekend away.

A very clean property. Located in a nice village. Comfortable bed. Easy roadside parking. All on the ground floor with no steps.

The kitchen area, although reasonably well equipped, is very small. Only room for one to cook. Didn't bother us much but the road is quite busy with tractors and lorries, so quite noisy. Although pleasant enough, the property feels a little lifeless I think is how to describe it. We also underestimated how far to Edinburgh.

A terrific place in wonderful area

Lovely lower flat in a stunning part of the Borders. A great find with amenities just a few yards away.

Great location but clean and basic

Very spacious except badly laid out kitchen. Good location with parking.

Sealant in shower needs replacing. Didn’t use it. The bed settee is shot. Most uncomfortable. I didn’t use the cooker which sticks out past the drawer. No liner in pedal bin. The toilet brush needs replacing. The mattress springs were uncomfortable.

Bathroom shower sealing requires redoing stayed last year , but was a damp smell this year so needs looked at, arrived an hour after estimated arrival and flat was still being cleaned

All in all, I'm totally happy.

Great value for money. Everything ran smoothly, but don't expect the world just a great wee apartment. Good fish 'n' chip shop across the street :-) Proprietors are friendly and have put some thought into what makes a stay pleasant.

Not a lot to say here. Perhaps, it might be helpful to be aware that the apartment is on the main street. The windows are double-glazed and the sound of traffic didn't bother me, but if you're very sensitive it might be advisable to think about this beforehand.

Great little spot with access to pub and 2 shops that met our needs. Great to have cooking facilities and clean apartmen

we loved that we were able to book the night before, that it was clean, well appointed, great location for us as we were hiking the Southern Upland Way and needed a dry night. price was really competitive. We didn’t meet the host but communication was great.
