The house is in a very rural location. No traffic noise, no aircraft noise, just tranquil.
The location was very good as a base for day-long cycling rides.
It's a good idea to take some milk, teabags etc as the nearest supermarkets are easily reached by car but there are no shops close by.
The house is very well-equipped and cosy. The Aga in the kitchen is lovely and there was an array of pots and pans to cook with.
We were amused by the robot lawnmowers and by the friendly chat with the house owner when we spotted that one mower needed assistance!
We liked it all!
