    Had a 2 night stay at Purdy Lodge. The location is great for visiting Bamburgh, Lindisfarne and Seahouses. It was great value for money and the staff are so friendly and attentive. The only negative would have to be the quality of the mattress. Myself and my husband found it really uncomfortable to sleep on. Other than this issue everything else was great.

    I always use Purdy Lodge because it's terrific value for money, incredibly dog friendly and the staff are so helpful, efficient and knowledgeable.

    Good value for money. Many other places in this beautoful area cost a great deal more for the same service. Friendly staff and flexibility of the 24 hr cafe in addition to the lodge's restaurant is also a plus.

    Purdy Lodge has all the basics if no frills. Despite the A1 to the front , the back looks onto tranquil fields. Dogs are welcome. Not good for those of us with allergies causing asthma and so on.
