Breakfast.view from room. evening meal. Close to bamburgh, seahouses and holy island. Nice spacious rooms. Excellent staff. Dog friendly. Stayed before and will stay again. Much better than other hotels/inns in area and better value for money.

Brilliant hotel that’s very dog friendly

Fantastic hotel which took our two little dogs without any issues. Great freshly cooked food in the restaurant. Excellent location for sightseeing.

The room i had book for was not the one I expected

The idea of the room for 3 was not it should of been.

It was the perfect stopover before travelling to Lindisfarne a short 25 minute drive away

Rooms were very clean and breakfast was great. Plenty of parking space and even though it was right next to the A1 you couldn’t hear any traffic noise when in your room.

The door to the en-suite in our room (no.2) was very noisy to open. The door to great room itself could not be closed quietly.

Family 1 night stay with our doggy

Gemma was extremely attentive and helpful. Room was clean. Views are beautiful. Felt safe and welcomed. Hats off to their chef... amazing and tasty food and it looked immense!!

Room could have had a fridge for cold water or baby milk perhaps BUT very happy overall and knew they didn't have one prior to booking!!

Great place to stay for a one-stop or short stay due to its location near the A1.

Good choice of breakfast options from full English or vegetarian option, to any personal request for example poached eggs on toast. Excellent breakfast selection laid out from yogurt, cereals, make your toast and a variety of fruit juices. Evening meals they offer a restaurant or cafe style. Both offer a great selection and the portions are a good size. The rooms face the rear of the property overlooking farmland. As a result this offers a quiet environment and you are not aware of the A1. The double room was a good size and the bathroom was large with a walk-in shower The room is provided with a heat and an additional blanket - not required on this trip as it was a heatwave!

The bedroom door handle had seen better days and was a little loose but locked okay. The Lodge was a little too hot due to no air con but with the windows open there was sufficient cool air

Loved this little place. Just so convenient and lovely accommodation. Bed was really comfortable. Very clean room. Was in a room on the ground floor but as rooms were set at the back, it looked out over fields and was really peaceful. I even watched lots of birds and some deer in the fields in the evening.
