Amazing place, a great stay to get away with the family or friends with the hot tub a bonus
We recently stayed here, 4 adults and 3 kids as one big family get together over the weekend for 3 days and it was an amazing stay with Annette an amazing friendly host and the property itself is stunning, it just has a lovely, clean, modern and yet with it an oldy type homely feel to it. It didn’t feel like it was someone else’s property if that makes sense, once unpacked and In it could have just ans easily been home that’s how relaxing it was. Not like some places you can book to get away to stay at. Everything about the place is lovely and the surrounding area is nice too with the sheep and hills. There is tonnes of space to accommodate everyone in terms of beds, seating, dining and even the hot tub which is fantastic addition with its massage functions and was great to use on the night time all lit up. Us adults loved it and so did the kids. I can picture this stay being amazing whatever the weather or season, we will definitely like to stay here again and soon because it’s so peaceful and relaxing and if you enjoy cooking which we all did it’s a great place to dine around the large table with the open kitchen area and the sofas and living area all in the one big room. The wood burner fire is also amazing and the warmth and general cosiness it brings just added to our evenings sat around chilling, eating, playing games and conversing. 5 stars out of 5 easily and I 100% recommend this property.
The WiFi isn’t the greatest but it does work and it was nice in a way it not always working 100% as our stay was for downtime not online time.

Nice location
The house is in a beautiful location and suited exactly what we were looking for. The main livingroom/kitchen open plan area is a really nice space to chill in as a larger group. It's a really quiet and serene spot. There was a mix up with bed configuration as Booking.com listed one of the rooms as having two single beds but host didn't seem to know this and the bedroom was made up as a double. Host recified this for us though after showing the Booking.com configuration.
While we enjoyed our stay, there were a few things we thought could have made it even better. Cleanliness wasn't of the standard we're used to in holiday lets - the windows inside needed cleaned, there was (possibly pet) hair on the floor in bathrooms and under the duvet in one room, hair in the shower, glasses in the cupboard weren't all clean, cutlery inserts in drawer needed wiped out etc. It felt very lived in. There's also only one towel per person which was tricky with the hot tub as you'd come out soaking and want to dry off then need a shower for the chlorine but your towel was soaked through. Bring extra towels! We understand with the hot tub that chemicals need checked so we did see the host on the 2nd morning of our stay which was fine as it was very early in the morning. On our check out day though the hosts came on two separate visits from around 8am to drain the hot tub. This felt intrusive as checkout wasn't until 10am.

Calm rural hideaway
Very peaceful location. Lovely rural views and quiet at night. Lots of space with well separated large bedrooms. Property was well equipped. Hosts were friendly and available but not intrusive.

lovely location, lots of local walks. well equipped kitchen, comfortable beds. we stayed early March so the log burner was lovely at night. Hot tub was also great for relaxing after our walks. close to local towns so takeaways available. highly recommend
