The hosts are absolutely lovely and very quick with communication. The cottage has everything you need for a very comfortable, relaxed holiday. The location is excellent - very close to Berwick and all its amenities and beautiful beaches, but far enough out to enjoy the peace and quiet of the surrounding fields and farm. The back garden overlooks a field where the horses and donkeys were brought every day. The log fire was amazing, and Laura had kindly stocked the garage with logs for us. We visited somewhere different every day (thanks to some of Laura's suggestions) including Hirsel House, Holy Island, The Walled Walk in Berwick, Spittal beach, Bamburgh Castle and Alnwick - all of which were well worth a visit.

The cottage -Linnet was very clean and equipped to a very good standard - tea and coffee was in the cupboard along with a pint of milk in the fridge- which was appreciated after a three hour wait for the RAC.
Laura was the perfect host and was communicative and welcoming.
The weather ! But that was out of anyone's control oh and a very squeaky door in the next cottage !
