Had a great relaxed break.

Excellent peaceful location. Very comfortable beds.spacious.perfect place to recharge.

Very dusty, cobwebs, definitely in need of a good spring clean! Kettle needs looked at as doesn’t automatically switch off so continues to boil! Outside lights not working.

Great property, shame about the uncomfortable beds.

The amount of kitchen supplies it had, the lovely brick work, the space, the Christmas tree was a nice touch, 2 big dining tables, a fantastic amount of crockery, glasses and cutlery and it Looked really nice on the inside too.

The beds were so hard and uncomfortable, only 2 out of the 5 of us managed to sleep whilst we were there.

Peaceful location with lots of space

Great, isolated location; quiet, dark skies, only 15 mins drive to main town of Berwick. Plenty of room for 6, and a lovely large lawn to sit out and enjoy the view.

Found it tricky to regulate the temperature. Beds were a bit soft for our liking. Bit dusty in places. En-suite door warped so didn't close properly. None of this stopped us enjoying our stay overall.

Absolutely brilliant stay !

The Long Barn is very spacious ,really well equipped and met our needs perfectly for a 3 night relaxing family holiday .Could not fault anything and so cosy and warm at all times day and night .Will definitely be back ,maybe next time in the spring or summer to make use of the outdoor facilities also

Probably the most impressed with this place than any other I’ve ever stayed.

Lots of space, all the facilities we needed,very clean, great location. They put up a Christmas tree and left us tea coffee milk biscuits and Prosecco upon arrival at no extra cost.

Great barn in a lovely part of the country

The size of the barn and garden were great, perfect for 2 young lively kids. Bedrooms and storage were a good size. 2 tables in the kitchen /living area, great idea, one to eat on and one that could stay as it was for kids craft.

The main areas were clean, however, could have done with a bit of a deeper clean, under things like beds/wardrobes.

The property and the location

Cobwebs in places and dusty in corners and under furniture. could do with a couple of backing trays in the kitchen and a bath mat for the large deep bath.

Very nice place to stay, but be aware of no cancellation policy

This is a very nice place to stay, plenty of room for 4 adults and 2 kids hang out and not get under each other's feet. Had all the facilities we could have needed, dishwasher, dryer, dishwasher etc. Plenty of plates, cups, glasses, pots and pans. Was nice and warm throughout with the under floor heating been a real winner. It was a freezing, windy January day and we didn't notice any of that inside. The couches and beds were comfortable, with nice linen and bathroom towels. That bathrooms were great, on demand hot water in the showers which had good power. Make sure you follow the emailed instructions to get to the accommodation and don't use the post code. All in all a very nice place to stay.

Communication could have been better. A third party manages (Sykes Cottages) seemed to be the point of contact, and depending on which staff member answered the phone meant either a poor or a good response. This accommodation has a no cancellation policy, which I WAS aware of at the time of booking. However, 6 months out from coming, we thought we may not be able to make it on health grounds and asked if we could cancel or change booking but were told no. I HAVE NO CONPLAINT as this was stipulated at the time of booking. But if you think you may want/need to change, you may want to consider booking somewhere else.

A great place to relax and unwind. what3words thighs.fortnight.saunas will get you to the car park

Spacious, clean and fully equipped, good location just main A1 just a few miles away. Each bedroom has it's own lockable doors to the outside. Beds very comfortable. Fully equipped kitchen and separate utility room. Lovely out-door area, plenty of green space, seating area and plenty of places to walk.

There is nothing we didn't really like. One comment from one of the guests was the barn is missing an outdoor shed with a stack of lilo's.
