Parking for 3 cars. No smoking. Please note: The property is accessed by a steep driveway or via a set of steps. There is a pond with safety grid, 20 yards, and drop in the garden.. Wooler is an attractive market town perched high above Wooler Water on the edge of the Cheviot Hills and Northumberland National Park. This lovely detached holiday cottage is set on a quiet side street not far from the main street with its good range of independent shops and pubs serving local food. Enjoy a game of golf, walking and biking routes for all abilities, fishing on the Rivers Till and Tweed, and the castles and gardens at Alnwick and Chillingham. Explore mystical Holy Island or take a boat trip to the Farne Islands from Seahouses. Shop and restaurant 250 yards, pub 200 yards.

The house can sleep up to 8 people, but may be comfortable for space with 6 guests. Guests should note the driveways is fairly steep and 1st gear in a vehicle is recommended. Disability scooters may struggle with the steep driveway. The other access is pedestrian and via a set of steps.

A lovely cottage situated really close to the centre of the village. Towns people really friendly. The people who own the cottage are so helpful and friendly . Well done both of you. Hope to stay again soon

Well equipped probably too much considering how many can stay. Owner very nice. Garden in back could do with being decluttered, tidied, too many ornaments for a rental more like someone’s home. Enjoyed stay great location.
