Holy Island, further up the coast, can be reached via the causeway and makes a great day out. Visit the historic town of Alnwick, 12 miles, and visit the castle as seen in the Harry Potter films. Shop, pub and restaurant 500 yards.

What a wonderful place. The bungalow itself was very clean and comfortable. The location was perfect for us, at the end of a quiet cul-de-sac and only a few minutes walk to shops, cafes and restaurants with Seahouses Harbour just 10minutes walk. The house isn't big or luxurious but was absolutely perfect. The welcoming gifts of cake, wine and dog treats and toys were delightful. We had a late arrival time, the heating and lights were on for us and there was milk in the fridge for a cup of tea. We will definitely be back.
