We booked a 2-night stay in the Glenburnie apartment at the Castle. From our first contact with Amanda at booking through to our arrival meeting with Kathryn (sp) we truly felt welcomed and cared for. The apartment was so comfortable and definitely, of a 5-Star standard, with an array of eclectic yet appropriate period furniture and accessories. The kitchen was fully equipped, the bathroom was warm and spacious while the master bedroom had a bed to die for! A stay at Thirlestane Castle is a must if you are in the Edinburgh area - it is close to many spectacular sites including Rosslyn Chapel
