Very peaceful and very well located in Lauder

A gem of an apartment

A beautiful apartment. Stunning kitchen. Great bathroom with an excellent shower. Comfortable beds. Cosy lounge. Delightfully warm with easily adjusted thermostat. Parking space right outside the door (apart from one day but we were able to get one a few steps away). Easy access to the town, where we highly recommend the Black Bull Hotel for their restaurant. So many lovely places to visit within 30 minutes drive and stunning views around every bend and corner! Stay here and you won't be disappointed!

A great self catering property in Lauder

The property was very clean, modern and spacious. Well equipped kitchen. Super bathroom and shower with under floor heating. Well situated in Lauder just off the main road with easy parking. Short walk to a nice pub which served good meals (Black Bull). Good communication with our host re key collection.

Lovely flat to stay.

The location is brilliant. Short walk to local shops. The flat was very spacious and modern decos. I could live there. 😉 And milk and a box of shortbread are lovely surprise.

Beautiful Homely Apartment

The apartment was perfect for our short stay in the borders area. It has everything you need and the kind touches of shortbread and milk were appreciated.

I think, maybe an oversight but need more than one toilet roll for the length of time we stayed there.

Lovely, comfortable apartment in a great location.

Lovely little apartment in a great location within Lauder. Everything you could require is provided and the apartment is furnished to a high standard and very comfortable. 2 good sized bedrooms, a good sized lounge and fully equipped kitchen. The bathroom is very modern with a fabulous shower. Lovely decked garden at the back with garden furniture. This was my second stay at this apartment and I have my next stay booked. Local shops, pubs and the park are all just minutes away by foot. Parking at the door and round the back.

Loved everything about the property. If I had to pick something, I’d say the mattress is the smaller bedroom is too hard but I appreciate that others may find it suits them well.

Great stay in lovely Lauder

Lovely quaint property in a nice village. Liked the terrace out the back and the kitchen and living room were great. Check in was really easy and Marion was an excellent host. Always responded promptly to questions.

We were there during very warm weather and the bedrooms were hot but not much the host could do on that other than maybe providing some lighter bedding when it's warm?

All on one floor, well equipped, easy to clean.

Impossible to close bedroom window without one person inside and one outside without climbing on furniture. Vaccum cleaner did not pick up dog hairs very well, sorry.

Clean modern property centrally located

Well located property in Lauder, just a couple of minutes walk from the high street. Recently renovated with a lovely kitchen and bathroom, the property was very clean. Ideal for a few days away for walking in Lauder, I would definately stay again.

Very enjoyable stay in Lauder.

Great location Lauder was a very nice friendly town and gave easy access to lots of other places of interest. Super clean cosy property decorated to a high standard. Kitchen was exceptionally well equipped to cook. Very kind leaving us some milk. Most helpful allowing us to check in early. Very responsive when we had a problem with the TV.

Bed in the cream bedroom rather firm but that’s a personal view. Limited hanging space in the cream bedroom. Would prefer a slightly larger TV

Lovely spot for a change of scenery

Lovely, well kept apartment, clean and cosy. Kind and helpful host. Handy for the main road where there was a great cafe called Flatcat Art Gallery, and the take away shop Marmaris was great too. Local Co-Op was just round the corner. Short drive to Thirleston Castle and Melrose Abbey. Weather was awful or else we would have explored more and also sat out on the lovely decked patio area. Maybe next time!

Cosy 2 bedroom apartment

Great kitchen and walk in shower room everything you need for short or long stay lovely little village the weather was warm and sunny so we made use of the decked terrace in the evening 2 good size rooms both with comfortable double beds just a pitty we were on a work trip only in the area for 4 days but would defiantely revisit for a leisure trip

Beautiful cottage, spotlessly clean, a home from home, we will definitely rebook another stay.

The kitchen had all modern equipment with everything you would find in your own home. The toilet/shower room has underfloor heating with a lovely large walk-in power shower, plus a large rainshower alternative.

There was nothing we didn't like about the cottage. It has full central heating, so is ideal for all-year-round use. Access may be a little awkward for disabled customers, but I'm sure the owners will probably have a solution if required.

Lovely home away from home

It was very well equipped and decorated nicely. The bathroom was gorgeous with the under floor heating and waterfall shower. Felt very much at home. Comfortable and high quality home. Clearly a lot of effort had been put into the cottage and it really felt like a home. I would have been happy to stay longer. Marion was in constant contact as well which was lovely and reassuring. She allowed us an early check in too which was amazing.

My only tiny gripe is that it was a bit dusty. It was clean but probably had been cleaned when the last people were in and then the dust built up but it was absolutely nothing that was awful at all! And we were very last minute booking (day before) so it's completely understandable. I loved the place so this is a very small issue.

Well furnished with the most modern of equipment/ fittings. Beds very comfortable. Pleasant and private sit-out area. Good central location for shops and within reasonable travelling distance from places to visit

We seemed to regularly run out of crockery so extra cups & side plates particularly, would be helpful. There appeared to b no refuse bin for plastic or glass outside cottage - perhaps there's a communal place in town for these? We needed instructions for microwave but we sussed it out eventually!

Everything! the property is exceptional and beautiful inside.We felt very welcome with everything we needed to start our holiday. The kind gesture of a bottle of milk and some shortbread was very much appreciated. Marion ensured we had everything we needed and we couldn’t have wished for anything better.
