Central location to Chester Very Good.

Was very cold when we arrived. Two small electrical radiators to heat three rooms, not adequate. We could not work out how to make the sofa bed into a bed...query if it did.

Superb

Excellent location, extremely convenient in transportation and various shops nearby, viz. Tesco, Wilko, M&S, WH Smith, Iceland and etc. Monument of Cathedral of Chester, Eastgate Clock, City Wall, blablabla..... Irrefutably fantastic experience. The most important - Rio, who is the staff of management, was performing professional and thoughtful.

Perfect location, well equipped and presented but very noisy

The location is perfect, a few minutes from the wall, surrounded by pubs with great food and a very nearby supermarket. Public parking is just behind the apartment, close enougfh to wheel cases to and from - it does cost GBP13 per day. The apartment is very well laid out and equipped and if it wasn't for the noise of the upstairs floorboards it would definitely get a 10.

It's a very old building that has been beautifully refurbished with the exception of the floorboards. If there is anyone staying in the apartment above you, you are going to be living to their timetable, even with earplugs we were woken up at 6am and weren't getting to sleep before 11pm. If you're looking for a lie in, apartment 1 is not the place for you, if you are a deaf insomniac I heartily recommend it.

Good location

The location was perfect, so close to everything Chester has to offer. The bedroom is large and the bed super comfortable, we very lucky enough not to have noise from the apartment above so very quiet while we were there.

The furniture and the bathroom were very basic., nowhere to hang wet towels and only a very small shelf for toiletries. Whilst there are sufficient beds for 4 people the living area would be very small for that number. The outside space wasn’t at all inviting, I imagine it would really only appeal to smokers.

apartment was lovely. good location. I didn’t get the info about the key safe but staff were very helpful.

I asked for bedding for the sofa bed, both by email and in the check in form, (as that is specifically why we booked) but it wasn’t provided. We were able to use the bedding from the spare bed but it was disappointing.

Nice location, nice place, wouldn't stay again - too noisy, too early.

The location was excellent. The apartment was spotless and well-equipped. The wifi worked well, but only in one room - two of us needed to be on Zoom calls simultaneously and the wifi didn't extend to the bedroom.

The noise of creaking floorboards at 6am from whoever was staying upstairs woke both of us up every day we were there. The noise of the floorboards was ridiculously loud - spoiled an otherwise pleasant stay.

Poor

The location, facilities, it was well equipped and roomy.

The entrance through the shared alley with Atena cafe who used it as a dumping ground, it was full of rubbish discarded furniture beer barrels, broken glass and builders debris. There was a leaking pipe outside the door which you had to wade through to access the apartment. Behind the first gates there was a second set of large gates, one of which was off its hinges and propped up the second was just swinging free. To make matters worse there were no lights on a night, so in the dark it was extremely dangerous to pick your way through all the obstacle’s. Although the apartment was large and roomy, well equipped there has been no thought put into sound proofing as you could here every sound from neighbouring apartments and it sounded like you were all in one apartment. This is not to say that the neighbour’s were noisy far from it you could just here every sound.

Chester City centre apartment

Fabulous location in Chester City centre. NCP car park is close by, just through an alleyway to the back. The apartment was well equipped and nicely set out. It is smaller than it looks in the photos but perfect for 2-3 people. Beds very comfortable. Everything you need for a city break.

Honest Review

Good and fast response time, whenever there was a question or problem.

Too many things breaking and not working (like blinds broken; toilet and shower not draining properly; locks on doors/gates broken and hard to use). Also, there was constant construction inside and outside the apartment, which was not mentioned ahead of time - very noisy!

Great flat,shame about the floorboards

The floorboards in the entire building are incredibly loud and squeaky. You can hear when someone is walking in another flat. Gets quite annoying especially at night when all you hear is the floorboards goings. There is no coat stand or pegs in the bathroom to hang your clothes or towels.

We love Chester and the weather was good so we were barely in the flat to be honest.

We weren’t told that parking our car would cost £10 a day until a couple of days before our holiday. The information we were given when we booked only said “parking” We feel we were misled.

Noisy but nice

Comfortable beds. Well stocked apartment. Very appreciative of the complimentary tea, coffee and sugar. Cleaning and washing up products also provided. Great location for all that Chester City centre has to offer.

No sheet on one of the beds when we arrived but fortunately we found one in a wardrobe. Bed setee not really fit for purpose and no sheet provided. A sheet was provided on day 2 of our stay once we reported the problem. Floor boards in the bedroom and in flat above were exceptionally noisy which lead to disrupted sleep. Next to a pub so unable to leave bedroom windows open at night due to noise.

Awful Accommodation think twice before booking

Please think twice before booking this accommodation in Chester. I read the reviews beforehand but NOTHING prepared me for this. First warning sign was the pub next door which at the weekend is open until 2am with very loud music. This apartment is right in the centre of Chester. On arrival at the property, the entrance is unwelcoming and the lobby smells badly. The apartment itself is tired, in need of fresh decoration and is being advertised as a luxury apartment with a heady price tag to match. I honestly wish I booked a hotel and I felt ripped off. I emailed the letting agent of this property twice and I still wait a response. AVOID AT ALL COSTS.
