Racecourse Gathering

Easy access, very clean and plenty of room. Fantastic property to stay in.

Lots of questions. E.g how many guests when I had booked 2 guests. Also asked for a 30 min early check in and this was not granted.

Comfortable stay in a conveniently located townhouse.

The property was very clean and nice and warm. It was easy to access using the door code. Everything we needed was provided, especially lots of towels!

A number of minor things which could have made a difference: no bedside light in some rooms; lack of hooks on doors, especially bathrooms and ensuites, for hanging towels, etc; no recycling options so all the waste just went in the same bin.

The main room had a nasty smell as we entered Opening back door didn’t help as the smell from the bins was worse We did open the front door but it was very noisy due to traffic

Great location and facilities

Great location, just around corner from Storyhouse, Turtle Bay, Cosy Club etc. Very clean with everything you would hope for in the kitchen. Also, plenty of fans in rooms to keep it cooler.

Some of the mattresses could do with replacing. You get a spring in your side when you turn over.

Cheap and good location, good parking round the corner and very close to local amenities

Had a slight issue getting the right apartment as they own 4 in a row. initially given the code to the wrong apartment and walked into a pre occupied flat. But the company quickly resolved it

Realistic pricing, great location for sightseeing

The position was central for shops and restaurants . Chester is very beautiful without the crowds.The heating and hot water functioned well on very cold days. The door lock system was really convenient.

Layout reminiscent of student accommodation, plenty of bedrooms with washing facilities but not the facilities downstairs for ten people to be comfortable together. If you were hoping to self cater you need to bring small kitchen knives, there is only a bread knife, and one decent pan. Table seats six. Having so many guests trying to use these has left small maintenance issues that need to be rectified.This was ameliorated by an excellent price for the location and as it was cold it was really important that the central heating system worked well. Street lights and traffic could be an issue for light sleepers.

Great location within the city walls.

Location was good, right on the walls and close to the canals. Lots of good pubs and restaurants within a short walk.

We were in number 1 and the upper floors and stairs made loud creaking noises when walked on which kept some of us awake at night until everybody had gone to bed. The beds are on the small side, we were a group of 5 but the property has many more beds packed into the rooms; good I suppose if you are a large group looking to stay together.

Never again

No heating in a freezing night. No hot water. Faceless and rude service Refuse to refund that night. We been waiting almost 3 months to receive the refund for the rest of our stay. Fire alarm not working 😡 Complicated to find and to enter. Not like the photos, dark place. No dining table, and many other details.
