The best place to stay in Chester!

We stayed for a long weekend Fri-Mon and would absolutely return. The house is not only lovely, quaint and spacious, it is beautifully decorated and SPOTLESS. It is the cleanest accommodation we have stayed at. Not a cobweb in sight. I rarely feel comfortable using dishes at self-catering without washing first but these were spotless and ready to use. The house gets so much natural sunlight, its very bright during the day and very cosy on the night. There are so many little touches thought of: candles, tissues, tea/coffee/sugar, throws for if you are cold, but the heating is also very easy to use, fans for warm weather in both bedrooms (sadly not a problem for us, visiting in Feb!), hair dryer, iron & ironing board, even straighteners. There are lots of sockets available, including next to the dresser/mirrors and both sides of bed for charging phones. The bed was very comfy, I slept the best I have in a 'new' bed for a while. I'd say its medium-soft, which was perfect. There's also two very plump pillows each. We didn't use the second bedroom. We loved the bath in the bedroom. The shower looked lovely too, very big, but we just used the bath. Parking was no issue. We got a spot right outside the door. Admittedly we didn't move the car for fear of losing our prime spot, but there was always free spaces throughout the 4 days. The permit is also for quite a few streets, ask the owner what zone and streets, you can also get a map online. The owner was brilliant, nothing is a bother. It was clear to see she really does care about people having a wonderful stay. She doesn't live far from the property and was very responsive to messages. She even rang me to confirm everything was okay after one of my queries. The property is so central, as in you walk out of the door and 2 minutes walk you are at The Rows, the main shopping area. We couldn't believe how close everything was.

Lovely stay. The house is fantastic. Its spotlessly clean, great facilities, beautifully decorated and well equipped. Great central location within easy walk to Chester Town centre. Convenient parking on the road. Great, helpful communication throughout with Bee. Woukd highly recommend

Short holiday

This is a complete gem of an accommodation. The house is on three levels, very clean, everything you require by the way of equipment, bedding etc. Dog friendly, which my pooch sure appreciated. The location is outstanding, with literally a two minute walk into the town centre. Parking was a bonus on the street across the road from the house; don't forget to advise the owner details as to your car and registration, in order that a parking permit can be arranged for the parking. Been to many accommodations, but this rates up there on the top ten.

Beautiful house in an excellent location .The beds were lovely and comfortable and the two baths were great with toddlers also great communication with the host and the house was a comfortable temperature

There wasn’t any negatives but some extra stair gates would give ease of mind as we had two young children so had to keep a very close eye on them

Spacious house in great location with convenient parking

Location is excellent. Bee was lovely. Parking outside was very convenient.

A faulty smoke alarm disturbed us at 4am. Can’t be helped but meant we were up for an hour trying to switch it off.

Why was the crockery in the fridge? No welcome pack. No wifi code. Vacuum left in sitting room. Bucket and mop left in kitchen. Had to email twice to get door code and details of parking permit. No leaving instructions.blind from off wall left in sitting room

Superb ! Just wish we had discovered this gem of a place years ago !

The property's interior is beautiful and has clearly been given much thought. It contained everything you could possibly need for a short break/weekend stay. The location could have NOT been better for us, as it was literally a hop, skip and a jump from all the restaurants and bars that we were visiting, whilst celebrating our 25th wedding anniversary .It is really central to the city and a HUGE bonus for us was that it also came with a parking space, which was free , something that we really appreciated, as usually it's the parking in cities ,that ends up making a reasonably priced stay very expensive :-/ Bee the owner was very responsive to all our questions and requests and couldn't have been more friendly, helpful and welcoming. We will not hesitate to book this property again on our next visit to Chester !

Beautiful town house in Chester :)

Gorgeous property in the town centre of Chester. Location of the property is incredible and the building is just so lovely inside. Bottle of fizz on arrival. Very clean. Great bathroom. Wife loved the roll top baths. Wifi was great.

We would book over and over again if it wasn't for the beds and this is purely personal preference not because it is a bad bed. But after injury to my hips the bed was far too hard for me to be able to sleep but again thats down to me. Anyone with aching bones or a bad back etc I would recommend against. Anyone else I would say 100% book.

A wonderful weekend in a very comfortable house.

We had a great stay. The house was very comfortable, with everything we could need. Such a great location for the town centre. Appreciated the parking and the bottle of fizz in the fridge. So welcoming 🙏🏽 Could have stayed longer

Best start to a new year

Amazing location, comfortable beds and everything we could possibly need during our stay. Hosts were really helpful and responsive going above and beyond.

Slight issue with water pressure in the shower but probably due to it being on the third floor!

Christmas stay 2024

A fantastic 3 storey spacious town house in the city centre. Our host organised permit parking and we were able to park opposite the property. We stayed over for Christmas and appreciated the festive decoration with tree and sparkley lights. This is undoubtedly the best holiday home we have stayed in - large and comfy, with a homely feel and tastefully decorated. Fully equipped and a welcome hamper included. The kitchen and dining area is on the ground floor, living room and double bedroom on first floor and the second double bedroom and bathroom is on the second floor. Wi fi available

There was some late night noise from the bar opposite but was generally not too much of an issue.

Locatie was top maar volgende keer een ander onderkomen voor ons.

Het lag in het centrum en dat was heel fijn! De keuken was mooi en modern en er lag een fles bubbels wat leuk !

Er lag vloerbedekking dat vies was , het bed op de tweede etage was heel smal een bed van 1.60 Max. Waardoor je dicht op elkaar lag en het was nog al warm in het huis zonder airconditioning dus slapen lukte niet. De love shack (bar)aan de overkant gaf veel geluidsoverlast . De wc zat op de bovenste verdieping dat vond ik vervelend.
