Would stay again .

Extremely clean. Loads of appliances ( hob, oven, d/washer, wash machine,microwave. ) Tea,coffee, sugar. Loads of towels Bed very comfy Plenty hot water . Hooks in bathroom. Very roomy.( apart from bathroom)

Would have been nice to have been left a pint of milk for arrival. Needs occasional table for drinks when watching TV. My arm wasn't long enough to reach putting cuppa on the floor. TV was only giving a few channels. Couldn't get BBC1, 2, itv etc. And it keeps buffering. In bathroom it needs a shelf for toiletries. Nowhere to put anything- literally!

From arrival till we departed, location, has all amenities around you with in walking distance, the apartment itself, gaining access the property very straight forward, the property itself very clean, spacious and customer care is a message away and tend to all requirements. I will and about to book this property again. Thanks guys very comfortable stay

Would not recommend.

Zero response from the property owners when I tried at least 3 times to text them about the early check in that was offered!! The bed frame was broken and very uncomfortable. It was like sleeping on the floor. According to a cleaner that arrived at the end of our stay the bed situation was not new and owners had been made aware. We dropped an ear ring on the floor and it rolled under the bed. Upon lifting the broken frame up to retrieve it, a sex toy was laying underneath!! The couch was extremely uncomfortable and so low to the floor it was difficult to get up from.

Had everything needed for a short two week stay, very clean, good location with street parking. Kitchen had all utensils and equipment and a large fridge freezer and a washer drier and a breakfast bar area. Large bathroom with a shower over bath. Felt secure and cosy, good communication and contact from owners.

Minor detail, the sofa was a bit uncomfortable.

Ideal Chester base

Good location for Chester, plenty of choice for takeaway, cafe, asda, and londis all within a two minute walk. Accommodation is basic but clean and comfortable. There is plenty of on-road parking. Very good communication with Melodie regarding key access, etc.

Pub across the road played load music till late. We had the windows open as it was warm, I expect it would be ok if the windows were closed. Stairs are narrow and steep to access the upper floor flats!! Area a bit rough and ready, but ok as a base for Chester.

Great place to stay!

Lovely appartment and very spacious. Parking easily available in the road, easy to get the keys. Very spacious bathroom, and great equipment in the kitchen. Bus stop 2min away to get into the city, grocery shopping right across the road.

Good location for visiting Chester and surrounding area.

Good location for our plans and close enough to walk into Chester. Clean and comfortable, good size rooms.

Situated on the main road, quite noisy from both traffic and neighbourhood. Kitchen equipment ie pots and pans limited for cooking own meals.

comfortable and lots to do

it felt right at home, very comfortable and it had a lot of necessities you would usually have to buy yourself if you were to stay at a regular hotel. i also liked the extensive amount of stuff on the tv since it helped pass the time. location was really good too, a lot of stores and restaurants nearby and a bus stop too if i needed to get to the city centre. staff were also really kind to me, especially when there were noisy neighbours, they apologized for the disturbance and dealt with the neighbours as they were doing a lot more than just being noisy. all in all, a really good place especially for its pricing, would definitely stay again!

Pleasant stay in a good location, in a clean and mostly comfortable flat.

Spacious and clean, comfy bed, well equipped and in a quiet and convenient location.

The stairs were quite awkward for older visitors like us, as was the settee - we like something higher & easier to get out of - but we coped!

The apartment was warm . The bathroom very warm and in winter months this is a great relief.

I wished the apartment could have been more clean . Also there were builders working right next to the bedroom and bathroom but in a building owned by someone else. This was not quiet work and caused upset . The holiday was virtually ruined. I felt that due to these things that the guest nor their holiday mattered very much. The duvet was not clean enough either. Otherwise the bed is new and clean. The shower bath loo very good condition and very clean.the small bathroom floor was really dirty. The rug in living room is rather grubby. The kitchen sink v clean . The toaster was unusable I suggested to the host that he provides a new one. Some dishes had to washed before use as food had been left upon them. The large fridge had to be defrosted immediately this helped it work fine. The oven was not usable and the oven itself will still need more attention as it has a coating of soft brown and black grease. I could remove some layers of this but not all. The hob was fine. The white walls are rather grubby in places and in my opinion as it is a holiday let need re painting. There was no brush for sweeping nor mop for mopping. I provided a mop and bucket. I also swept and mopped the floors. I could not receive post nor parcels as the front gate has a code. The host said I could give the post man the code if I could contact him when he delivered mail to the street. I could receive a food delivery. The kettle needed descaling but was not too bad. The couch is in v good condition but is grubby at seats. The two radiators had years of dust that I tried my best to remove . The change of bedding was cared about ,the clean bedding brought to my door by the hosts and his wife. Almost the whole apartment needed dust removing. The washing machine needed cleaning especially the soap drawer . There was a black coating of old dust upon the glass of the two prints of flamingoes upon the wall in bedroom. There is a hand held rechargeable hoover. This needed cleansing and...

Very good value in a comfortable apt

Excellent value for money, the owner is always in hand to assist. Good security with lights and a locked gate. Apartment is comfortable with a nice firm bed and a fairly new bathroom. Heating works well as do all other utensils. The area is residential with a good variety of shops close by.

a pleasant apartment, all the big things done right, but let down by the small things...

modern clean well furnished. very clean. it had the essentials and was well connected to the local bus network ... a 2£ fare into Chester.

there were some omissions in the equipment and supplies ... no corkscrew, no oven tray, no dishwasher detergent, no salt and pepper. I know it is self catering, but who wants to buy stuff that is essential but will barely be touched. The window blind in the bedroom was broken, so no privacy ... And the description about it being 20 minutes walk to town is simply wrong ... it is about twice that.

Very disappointed 😞

The location was fine, half an hour walk into Chester which was a pleasant walk. It was on a busy road but traffic died down later on an evening. The owner did replace the kettle for us which was a bit grubby so appreciated that.

Unfortunately the bed was really hard, so we only stayed 2 out of 5 nights cos we couldn't sleep on it. In all honesty, the apartment needed a deep clean as there was mould around the bath plug. As mentioned before, the kettle was grubby in the bottom. Even the bedside tables looked as though they hadn't been wiped over in a while. There's quite a lot of marks all over the walls, so they could do with a lick of paint and the coffee table seemed to be falling apart. It's such a shame cos the apartments could really be made into something wonderful as they're not a bad size and the actual facilities available are good, I just think they really need to focus on maintenance and get new cleaner. We would definitely not stay again I'm afraid.

A lovely stay in Chester, despite the weather

Handy location for food shopping, takeaways , and bus stops. The flat was clean and well equipped.

As I have had sciatica in the past, the bed was too hard and the sofa too low for me. It didn't spoil my stay, but I did have to be more mindful when lying or sitting.

Noise affected our stay but the accommodation was excellent.

The flat wasn't that bad. However we had to endure and accept a couple having very loud rough sex for 3 nights, this was a step too far for us. I am Giuseppe's wife. The flat was actually very clean, comfortable and modern and certainly good value for money. Our problem was another guest and we should have known that we could ring the owner to sort it out. Please do not be put off from using the flat as it is really nice. For us, it was just a one-off negative experience. My husband was upset and this influenced his review, which was not really fair. Would definitely recommend! Pam
