Truly amazing property with exceptional hosts

The house is so close to the City Centre, clean and lots of room . Fully equipped kitchen and there was even a Christmas tree up for our visit

Convenient location, great for a couple of nights with a small group of friends

Convenient location in the center of Chester. Four large bedrooms and 2 Bathrooms. Good for 4 people. A bit more interior design would make it feel more luxurious and would be easy to achieve.

The lighting in the sitting room needs attention. With some table lamps the ambiance could be massively improved. We borrowed 2 table lamps from one of the bedrooms while we were there and it made it much more cosy straight away. Quite a lot of noise first thing from refuse lorries etc, but small price for central location.

Had a great weekend in ideally placed warm well equipped house

Excellent location, comfortable warm house well equipped. Good size. Layout and facilities well thought through Advice offered on blind, were able to use this despite slight problem when we arrived as small part seemed broken prior to our arrival. Good that prompt response to our question

We really enjoyed our stay but have backache

We stayed at the property for my daughter’s Graduation so it was so close to the Cathedral it was great. The property is lovely and has a garden as well which I can imagine would be lovely in Summer! The facilities are great and spacious!

The house is very creaky when people move around and the beds are really uncomfortable. The bins in the bedroom hadn’t been emptied. To ask us to strip the beds was cheeky after paying to stay as a guest!

Comfortable and convenient

It was very well located for all the sights, restaurants etc. Had four good sized bedrooms and a well equipped kitchen. Everything was clean and worked

Nothing really - the bin men were noisy in the morning but if you go for a central location you are going to get that. Not the property's fault. There wasn't any parking which wasn't ideal but again we knew that when we booked it and we parked 5 mins walk away for £8 for 24 hours

Good location, but issues with the wifi and blinds

The location was very good, and the property was satisfactory on the whole

The garden furniture was not very good and it was sat on a muddy lawn, there was only one fan for the whole house, the beds were not very comfy and there was no where to dry your hair properly. The blinds in the bedroom were faulty you could neither open or close them there was no handle/rod to turn.

Large and spacious modern house right in centre of town, good for group.

Very central, great rooms, lots of space, well equipped

Noisy location, if that bothers you, we expected it as its next to bars and student area, but as it was hit we had to keep windows open so it was loud at times.

The property was in an excellent location for access to everywhere in the City.

Location was perfect, 2 min walk and you were in Watergate street, the main hub of Chester. Lovely kitchen and all bedrooms were large and airy.

The upstairs floors were really creaky, so noisy when people were moving around especially at night. The blind in the back bedroom on the first floor was missing the rod to close it, which meant I didn't get much privacy. Thankfully the beds were really comfortable so the light didn't disturb me. It would benefit from a parking space, like the house next door.

Pleasant, well equipped modern property in a very convenient location

Great location next to Watergate Street. Bedrooms were all equally sized and quite spacious. Well equipped kitchen.

The street area around the house not attractive to look at. Lounge area a bit cramped and would be very tight for 8 people. All the upstairs floorboards creaked with every movement. Traffic wardens very active and even when unloading and loading luggage you needed to keep your eyes open.

Great central location, lovely comfortable house, making for a very enjoyable break

Our only issue was parking as the only driver has mobility issues. This issue was clearly explained before our visit, and car parks were close, as described, but we did wonder if the small grassed area in front could be converted to a parking space, as next door

Lovely property

Really lovely property, lots of room, very comfortable and nice decor. Good location for what we needed and reasonable parking very close by. Shops and bars very close by, the only negative to that was the noise of emptying of glass bins late at night. Would definitely stay again.

The property had all the facilities we needed. Fully equipped, with generous space good size kitchen. Extremely quiet location and so central to Chester town and Race Course. The bedrooms were extremely comfortable and spacious. Good value for money!

A pleasant stay in a well situated town house

Lack of parking options close by, one bedroom had no curtains and therefore the daylight lit up the room very early on.

Great house in a perfect location with good facilities

Location was excellent and the rooms were a really nice size and comfortable

Harsh to say didn’t like but I think it could do with some colour in the bedrooms in particular and curtains everywhere to keep the light out. Not that we we needed it but I would also think that most properties would have a Tv in one or more rooms I guess there must also be a reason the front of the property can’t be used as a drive like the two middle properties? Parking was easy but this would have been an added bonus if we could park.

Excellent stay in central Chester in very comfortable accommodation. Would definitely come back.

Perfect location, just off the main shopping area yet still peaceful at night. Exceptionally comfortable town house with great attention to detail within the property.

Could have used a 4 slice toaster, non slip mat for inside the bath, small sharp knife for chopping and also toilet brushes for cleaning toilets. Also it would have been helpful to know which days the bins were emptied so we could have made sure we put them out. Some ‘things to do’ pamphlets for activities around Chester would have been a good addition and maybe some playing cards or a board game.

Great house in a great location, ran by excellent hosts.

A really nice modern property throughout with plenty of space for the 8 of us who stayed. An amazing location, ideal for shops and local attractions, 10-20 minutes from Chester Zoo, the Ice Cream farm and Cheshire Oaks. Hosts very helpful, would certainly return!
