the worst experience I've had in this apartment, first of all, the ad is a scam and that's what I said. It only has one bedroom, not 2 as it says in the ad, almost every day I was without electricity for 4/5 hours, I called the owner told us to knock on the neighbors because he is in Italy and cannot help us. be careful with the pictures with lights and etc., it is the cheapest apartment, all the furniture is not worth more than 500 euros. I do not recommend it even to my enemies, a terrible experience

Very nice for single. Nightmare for more then 2 persons

The location is ok - in the old port, quite silent, with small cafes around location for breakfast. There are high-tech devices (TV, fridge, kitchen, lights)

The apartment is not at all as described!!! There is only ONE BEDROOM because the so called ”second bedroom” is a living room = a room between 2 doors (but without the doors!) with 2 leather-made sofas, a TV (with high-tech audio station, indeed) and one cooler. The so-called living room is, in fact, a dining room = one 6 persons-table, fridge, coffee machine and a tiny space around the table, and communicates (through a former door) with the so-called kitchen = a tiny space for preparing the food. BUT the greatest disappointment and inconsistency with the description is the ABSENCE OF THE DOOR OF THE BATHROOM!!! In fact, in the apartment there are only 2 doors: one of the bedroom and one of the WC!! The WC and the bathtub (and the washbasin) are in separate rooms... So, there is no basic intimacy!!! On the other hand, the room with the WC doesn't have any air-evacuation system - the smell is evacuated through the rooms :( In conclusion: the apartment is perfect for a single or for a couple (without inhibitions). But for more then 2 persons...even there are your own children... the apartment is a nightmare! It is so pity because the devices, the details, the arrangements are very tech and nice. It could be a pleasant space if the owner would invest in 2-3 doors and in a ventilation system...

We are very disappointed.

This property is not according to the description. There is only one bedroom which doesn’t have a proper door to the small living room. Also the shower and toilet are open style—no door, no privacy at all. And there is no second bedroom. The property description is totally wrong.

Great furnishings and location -- but NOT AIR-CONDITIONED.

The location is excellent, although this was not immediately obvious, since we arrived shortly before dark. The neighborhood appears run down, but it two minutes by foot to the old harbor (there is not really a view of the old harbor as advertised though -- you can see it if you stick your head out of the window; the view is of the building across the road). The host obviously spend a great deal on appliances -- fancy bathroom mirror, huge refrigerator with freezer and ice maker, TV with game station and DVD player, etc.

Our visit was in August, when Marseilles is extremely hot. The room is advertised as air-conditioned, but it most certainly is not (nor is the building). The host has placed a portable Yatek evaporative air conditioning unit in the place which essentially relies on a panel in its rear absorbing water from a tank in the bottom which then evaporates, in theory cooling the room. It was entirely insufficient. The air coming out of the unit was not noticeably cooler than the rest of the air in the apartment. It was effective in cooling people in the room, since it had a fan, but didn't help anyone elsewhere in the apartment. There are no instructions for anything anywhere in the apartment. I called the host, who suggested that I fill the tank with ice instead of water. The problem there is that the icemaker (for which there are no instructions, either) does not make remotely enough ice to keep the tank filled. So you have this nicely furnished apartment in a great location that is extremely uncomfortable because it is too hot. The host would have been better off spending the money for the "air conditioner" on three or four fans. The doors to the bath and the toiler are accordion and very flimsy -- one actually came off while we were there. Oddly, the light in the tiny toilet is on a motion detector, so it goes out after a few seconds and the occupant is forced to wave his arms around to get it to turn back on.

Rien aimé dans cet appartement à part l’emplacement proche du vieux port mais avec vue directe sur un immeuble

À notre arrivée il y avait des personnes dans l appartement (qui n’étaient pas des touristes mais des locataires occasionnels à court terme) ils ne voulaient pas quitter l appartement. Le propriétaire soi-disant à l’étranger à ce moment là a dû faire intervenir la police, qui est arrivée 2 heures plus tard. Nous avons dû négocier et imposer leur départ de l’appartement. Génial comme arrivée ! À l’intérieur forte odeur de tabac imprégnée dans la chambre. Oui il n y a qu une seule chambre malgré ce que le propriétaire affiche. Dans le salon 2 banquettes pourries en guise de lit d appoint. Il n’y a aucune porte dans l appartement. Celle de la chambre est une espèce de séparation accordéon en plastique toute cassée. Le lit était sale (voir photos). Pas de porte pour la salle de bain mais un rideau en plastique fixé avec un coupe ongle (voir photo) . Le frigo ne marchait pas mais sonnait toutes les 15 secondes. La literie est très mauvaise au delà de l odeur. Pas de porte pour les wc non plus mais une séparation en plastique, histoire de vraiment tout partager avec les personnes qui vous accompagnent. Le jacuzzi n’était qu’une vieille baignoire a remous qui fuit. Bref, si vous souhaitez un séjour pourri, n hésitez pas à cliquer. J’ai contacté le propriétaire qui m’a dans sa grande générosité dédommagé de 40€ sur 300€ payés.

Rien à par l’emplacement

Mensonges sur l’annonce : 1 chambre et pas 2 , pas de porte pour la salle de bains ni pour la chambre ( super l’intimité) , pas de climatisation comme indiqué sur l’annonce juste un mauvais ventilateur pour tout l’appartement ( en pleine canicule je vous laisse imaginer) , un soit disant jacuzzi c’est une baignoire, vue mer ont se croirait dans le film permis de construire pour voir la mer ... Nous sommes donc rester 1h , parti à l’hôtel car c’était intenable et demandons le remboursement ! Je ne recommande pas du tout et j’aurais préféré l’honnêteté du propriétaire sur les points que je viens d’évoquer.

Peuchère... c'était super !

Dans l'ordre, l'accueil téléphonique et la réactivité de notre hôte, son aide pour accéder à la boîte à clés, puis à l'appartement, la totale exactitude des renseignements fournis, la disponibilité également du propriétaire des lieux et ses précieux conseils pour trouver un bon restaurant ou pour s'orienter à MARSEILLE où nous étions venus en train pour un match au Vélodrome. Ces éléments ont contribué à la réussite de notre séjour.

Tout était parfait. Cela reste un détail, mais l'éclairage et notamment celui des toilettes, est automatique et s'éteint donc au bout d'un certain temps. S'il était possible d'augmenter celui-ci, ce serait un plus. Mais cela reste anecdotique, car il suffit de bouger les bras pour que la lumière se rallume.
