Property is beautiful. Really amazing and will definitely visit again. There is so many toiletries and snacks and the fridge is fully packed and I think that’s incredible!

More prompt with responding to messages … I messaged a week before the stay and had no response and messaged again and no response. So it’s better to be ring them. The place oddly doesn’t have a bin. Which I think is weird. It would be a 10 if these things were sorted

Funny smell in bathroom from toilet/sewer?? Slow or no Internet. It kept going off which was annoying when trying to watch Netflix in the evening. Kettle needs descaling. We didnt use and heated water in a pan.

Everything to could need and more was available. Even though this property was very near a main road the fact it went down a country lane made our stay very quiet. It was a very pretty property and the owner couldn't do enough without being over bearing. Lovely lady. Perfect place for anyone with dogs.

Maybe a little more room in the cupboards (especially in the bathroom) to put your own things in. There were so many products there for guest to use which is very nice but of course some like to use their ow. Not a complaint just a suggestion.

The cabin is beautiful. It has everything you need and so much more. We felt so relaxed. Just perfect.

Really nice jacuzzi bath and the heated floors were a bouns

When approaching the lodge it was a bit dark and muddy. It's way too over looked and it was absolutely freezing even after leaving the heating on while going out for dinner and when we returned after a number of hours the place was still freezing

Location for as we don't drive so was easy for us to get too.

There is nothing to not like ,we will be returning at some point.

the cabin itself was in a good location and what they offer in the cabin is lovely however it shouldn’t have been let out in the ‘state’ it was in due to cleanliness

we arrived after a 3 hour journey from Essex , we were hot and tired and I had booked this for my partners birthday. when we arrived we looked around and were instantly not happy with the cleanliness of the cabin. there were thick cobwebs and dust throughout , the bed looked like it had been slept in, the sheets were not clean and under the mattress sheet was what looked like a dried makeup wipe. the bathroom had cracked tiles on the floor and the shower head was covered in scum and lime scale also strands of hair. the bathroom was the main reason this was booked as it looked luxurious, the bath was not fixed to the wall and moved , the tiles in the shower and around bathroom were cracked and sharp. fridge was disgusting and kitchen cupboards were hanging off. there was broken glass in the cupboard and the toaster basically had loaf of crumbs in there . the footboard on the bed was broken too. someone had obviously sat on it there was food in there , which I won’t lie is a lovely comforting touch and the breakfast hamper too. but the cleanliness let this cabin down. we did speak to the owner who was upset and apologetic, I did offer to show her our findings etc as we were not looking for a free night away. she was helpful and offered our money back, which we took and left the same day to head home. I was disappointed that I paid £110 through booking.com which I showed, but because they received £97 they only refunded me that. it was only £13 but when I take into consideration the money I spent on food and petrol and the fact this was a birthday present , I just don’t feel it was acceptable . I read the reviews and this is why I booked but without being rude I clearly have a higher standard of expectation when I travel and stay away.

Bit of a smell from the drains in the bathroom certain parts of the cabin were showing signs of wear namely in the bathroom, there wasn’t enough toilet paper and I couldn’t find any more too many dogs running around and made my partner a little scared at one point when they come bouncing over barking without the owner there. Parking was too tight for a larger 4x4

Way better than pictures show, really cosy, modern and homely. A nice relaxing space. Reviews have not lied about the bed, it was so comfortable and cosy! Defo now on our fav list.

The cabin is in a secluded location but is on the grounds of the hosts house so you still feel safe, the hosts are friendly and welcoming. plenty of snacks, tea, coffee and kitchen has everything you need, pots, pans, all cutlery available, was able to cook our dinner with only needing to buy our food. Cabin was nice and warm, clean, really comfortable bed, and has a space to park car right outside Definitely want to come here again in the future 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Good early arrival time, conveniently located for local attractions. Very friendly hosts. Quiet peaceful location. Very warm and comfortable cabin with everything provided, very spacious with a luxury bathroom. Welcome snacks and continental breakfast provided. Ideal for pets. Good for a night stopover or longer.

really clean interior, had everything you needed kettle, towels etc even went the extra mile by adding snacks and breakfast bars out. Netflix was on the tv

The cabin was so bright and cosy. Very well furnished and comfortable. The location was great too, just tucked away enough to be away from busy traffic. Fantastic bath and plenty of snacks and treats which was a lovely touch.

There is everything you may need: parking, comfortable bed, fully equipped kitchen with breakfast and sweet snacks, which was very nice. Large bath was a great bonus to relax after a long day!

I was there for a university course. The location was quiet and secluded with access to nature. The log cabin was very cosy and welcoming. Lots of space and amenities were a bonus.

Last part of walk back to log cabin was dark and down wooded paths, something to be mindful for solo travellers at night.

It was exceptionally lovely, clean, well presented and fully equipped

It could have done with signage directing to the property it was a little hard to find
