Exceptionally clean. Great lighting - quite unusual for a hotel room. Lovely simple decorations. High ceilings. Quiet. Warm. Great water pressure in bathroom and shower. Could not get a better location for Halle railway station and thus access to Brussels.

Earlier warning on how to access the place would be useful. Email was sent 3/4 hours before my arrival, which I did not see as travelling. I then needed to ring the bell and bother the very helpful chap who gave me the key box entry code. So, this was NOT a problem, just caused a moment of concern on a very cold day!

A convenient and well-priced place to stay.

Very convenient for rail station just ten minutes from Brussels Eurostar. Coffee machine, and sitting area in bright room. Well-equipped. Pleasant little Flemish town.

Wooden floor above made it a bit noisy from upper room. Shower/bath arrangement a little difficult, but lots of hot water.

1min from the Hall station. Great location to visit the Hallerbos - the shuttle bus is just in front of the place or it's less than 1h walking. About 3-5min from a big Delhaize supermarket, and public transportation that take you to Hallerbos (TEC). I selected that I didn't know when I was going to arrive and realized we had no check-in instructions but luckily someone was inside expecting us. The shower products are from Rituals and smell amazing. The bathtub is quite large!

The double bed wasn't really a double bed, it was 2 beds together. The bed is comfortable, but sleeping with my partner meant sleeping in the hole between the 2 beds which was not great.

Wonderful rooms

De Kaai offers a spotless clean room, originally decorated, where you find an oasis of rest. It was surprising and well above the standards of any hotel room. Well situated, there is a possibility of a late check-out. It is just all wonderfull and worth to be recommended to everyone !

Good. But not very comfortable. My room was roof top and the height of the camera is very low.

Fish restaurant with rooms <30 minutes from Brussels' mainline stations

Better seen as a restaurant with rooms, bang opposite the station, 15 minutes from Bruxelles-Central by regular train. Excellent fish restaurant on the ground floor, open five nights a week and some lunchtimes. Excellent breakfast. A few decent beers.

No elevator and 46 steps to the top floor - awkward with a case. Never did figure the fan / air con. Nearest free parking is 500 metres / four blocks away.

Lovely, modern B&B

Extremely clean, stylish,friendly staff and there is a beautiful fish restaurant downstairs owned by the same people.( highly recommend)

It was unfortunate , but our heating was broken and we had another three days there. (Too hot and noisy) I feel, as the B&B was empty, perhaps we should have had a different room? People should also be aware of the amount of stairs (+50) which for some might be a problem.

Superbe logement en face de la gare de Hal. Soit environ 10min en train de Bruxelles. Tout l'équipement nécessaire était disponible dans la chambre. Propre et bien décoré.

Convenient location for Bruxelles

Posizione perfetta, davanti alla stazione dei treni di Halle, in dieci minuti si arriva a Bruxelles Midi. Camera pulita e dotata di ogni comfort, arredamento nuovo. Ero nella camera Engeeland al secondo piano (senza ascensore). Camera silenziosa e tranquilla, molto accogliente, bel bagno grande. Letto comodissimo. La colazione non era prevista, ma c'era la possibilità di fare il caffè e un piccolo frigo bar dove conservare del cibo. L'ingresso alle camere è sulla strada principale prorpio sul lato fronte stazione. Tornerò sicuramente, grazie!
