The hotel is very comfortable for a good prince and at a perfect location.

The hotel very comfortable and in a good shape. It’s close to the public transport hub Brussels Midi, which makes a perfect fit for a short (or longer) stay in Brussels.

The balcony was under construction. There was construction material laying around, but it was still accessible which felt a bit wrong. The inner courtyard was a bit smelly.

Disappointing

The hotel was close to the stayin but I did have to walk down a very dodgy scary part of town to get there. My room was TINY and was next to a generator so it was also noisy. I would not recommend staying here.

Very good hotel, although the location is a little off track.

The room was on the 5th floor, it was nice and quiet. Breakfast was good and had a good selection.

The information about the parking (in English) wasn’t as detailed as the one in French. We thought the hotel had its own parking lot, but we had to use and pay for a public parking. Anyway, the staff was nice and gave us all the information.

Decent hotel near Brussels-Midi station

Conveniently located close to Brussels Midi station. Room was large & spacious. Good breakfast.

No bar or restaurant on site. The night I was there I heard loud bangs/noises coming from the hallway outside my room.

Lovely small hotel with easy transport options for a weekend in Brussels.

The Concorde is conveniently situated close to the Brussels Midi train station. It is a pleasant walk into Grand Place or there is a nearby metro. The area surrounding the hotel is full of major road works currently but that didn't affect us during the weekend. Our room was very comfortable with a good sized bathroom with lots of shelf space. Tea and coffee making facilities in the room which was appreciated. The hotel receptionist was warm and friendly and very helpful. I would recommend this hotel.

Sketchy neighborhood as expected, decent stay.

I liked the proximity to the train station and that there was an elevator on the property. Our room was pretty spacious, but as to the value, i booked last minute so I i got a good deal as opposed to their normal price. They were able to keep our luggage after checkout so that was a plus.

Cleanliness was so so. We found many hairs in between the sheets, and the pillows were so wrinkled that i suspect they were slept on and that the covers unchanged. Lighting was dim unless you turn on the additional lamps. The people at front desk was a bit limited so there was some miscommunication in some instances. Location was sketchy as everyone will say, but everyone knows it's super convenient to the train station.

Cannot recommend as although the hotel is fine the area it is in is awful.

The rooms were ok, well equipped with a coffee maker and kettle. Bed was large and comfortable with decent bed linen. Reception staff were not talkative but friendly and efficient.

Not the fault of the hotel, but the surrounding area is truly awful. Dirty, with lots of graffiti, and groups of young men hanging around, calling out, and behaving in what felt like a threatening manner. We used taxis to go out and return in the evening as we were frightened to go out walking. We are very experienced travellers and have never experienced anything like this in a European city. Bring near the station is handy but the noise from the trains was very loud (this contrasted with our experience in a German city where the hotel had excellent sound proofing).

Average stay in a very average hotel

Good shower, convenient location near the Midi station, pleasant staff. Nothing amazing about the hotel or stay, noting really problematic. Just a bit average, would have expected more for the price and the star rating.

The room was too cramped with far too many things in there (nightstand taken up entirely by a landline phone), room shape/size didn't suit the furniture - it felt like an obstacle course getting round the room, selection of tea/coffee in the room was poor for the hotel's star rating (couple of decaf pods, 2 uht creams for 3 people, instant Nescafé, felt very stingy), room was very stuffy the Aircon in the top floor made little difference. Not enough power outlets for a room of that size I wouldn't have said this is a 4* hotel, it's more of a 3* hotel with aspirations but none of the finishing.

Adequate

It was close to the areas we wanted to see.

The area is kind of sketchy, homeless and urine smell especially by the train station. Our initial room on the 5th floor was nice but there was something off, the carpet by the bathroom door was damp and we saw some paint that was blistered. When I showered the next morning, I found out why: the shower drain backed up and the shower door seal was missing about 2/3 so water ran out into the bathroom. We informed the front desk and were moved to a first floor room that was smaller but was OK. The one other glaring issue was the cost of the breakfast, it was €18 per person and, after looking, it wasn’t much better than a free breakfast at a Hampton Inn. We went to a cafe down the street and had a great breakfast for less than €15. If you are staying over the weekend, there is a flea market on the plaza in front of the hotel on Sunday and it was fun to walk around and see what the locals were selling.

Will skip this hotel - next time

The hotel is walking distance from the station. Seem to be a brand new hotel with only 4 rooms per floor. Also a short walk to old town which is great.

Breakfast is from 7h00. My first morning I went down 7h15, a family was already there and informed me that they have been waiting since 07h00 for breakfast - nothing was ready. I came down again at 07h45 and they where starting to set up the buffet - only a few cold meat and rolls, the hot buffet came out as I left - only scrambled eggs - that's it. The room had no coat hangers - so you cannot hang up anything.

Scary location, good hotel

The room was big and tidy. It was relatively sound proof. The staff were friendly and accommodating. The bed was hard but I like a hard bed.

The location. Being in Midi, it's a rough area and it's scary to walk at night. We ended up leaving early.

Brand new room…

The staff (female) who was working during the night, left us locked outside hotel for a long time. The hotel does not open the main door by access card, u depend on the staff to do it for you.

Location close to Gare du Midi so good for train trams etc. 20 min walk to centre.Modern clean room - friendly staff.

Not hotel's fault but surrounded by building work. Jackhammers started early and could feel vibrations in building. Stopped after a couple of hours.

They have to be honest about everything

Property was good, clean and the staff we had were very friendly.

The hotel did not have parking. In the site it is said there is parking, but there is none. Arrived late we had to park into a public parking and elk back to the hotel. Had to pay more than 50 euros for 8 hours. Not very fun!

I would like to highly appreciate the morning receptionist, He is beyond kind and care! I love him. We had a very exceptional stay , perfect location ! It’s just next to the main train station. Perfect breakfast, amazing room,spacious,clean,comfortable, they are truly generous with their guests

Location is close to metro/tram and centrally located - staff good - good bathroom and cleaness

- Room very small - the area at night is very unsafe, pay attention to never be alone as it is risky - beside the hotel there is a very bad hotel with people outside that make the area uncomfortable and risky especially at night for women

The hotel is small but modern and rooms look nice. The rooms are small but still comfortable. The coffee and tea is in the room. The bathroom is very nice and modern, well equipped. The room is very clean. Easy to go to the airport by train (Gare du Midi is just a minute away).

Convenient and comfortable overnight stop on a rail journey.

Location convenient for the main railway station, and the metro, both about 5 minutes walk from the entrance. Very vibrant Sunday market till c14.00. Room quite spacious, given the central location.

The inner city location was advantageous but inevitably want it was all a bit cramped and impersonal. Not sure I’d venture out alone at night but fine during the day.
