Luxury stay in a beautiful place!

What a place! Can't recommend this place enough if you're looking to explore the isle of Skye. I travelled alone and wanted a comfortable place to come home to after a day of hiking or cycling along the isle. It was all that I hoped for with all facilities you can think of. The kitchen is amazing to cook yourself a nice home cooked meal and the bathroom and bedroom are more comfortable than they are at home. Evelyn and Duncan are great hosts are very helpful. 10/10 recommend and I can't imagine I won't be back! Oh and the basket with local snacks and drinks is very kind and and a nice welcome to your new favorite place

Absolutely brilliant. Very sad to have to leave at the end of the week.

The location is second to none. Such beautiful panoramic views from the lounge window. I would love to be able to see this view every single day. The hosts are both very friendly and helpful. The chalet is very well appointed with every you could possibly want from a self-catering property. The hosts are always on hand should there be a problem.

Relaxing, comfortable and enjoyable stay

There was nothing we disliked. The cabin is spacious, very well equipped and the bed, omg massive and so comfortable. Evelyn greeted us when we arrived which was lovely. The views from the cabin are incredible, especially on a night when the sun is setting. There was an essentials basket for us with bread, crisps, biscuits etc which was a nice touch. We’ve booked again for September that’s how much we loved our stay.

A perfect little gem on a beautiful isle

The chalet is situated in a perfect location - not far from the facilities of Portree but still giving you a sense of being in the landscape of Skye. With some beautiful sunsets and -rises. The chalet itself is well appointed with lovely furnishings and washing machine and dryer. It’s comfortable, cosy and feels like home. The beds are super comfy and the reclining chair/couch was great! The hosts Evelyn and Duncan are friendly, attentive and do all they can to ensure a comfortable stay. The welcome pack was so generous! We already booked our stay for next year only this time a week instead of a few days :)

Craigard Chalet is situated in a perfect location - not far from the facilities of Portree but still giving you a sense of being in the landscape of Skye. The views of Loch Snizort are stunning! The chalet itself is well appointed with lovely furnishings. It’s comfortable, cosy and with a touch of home and has everything you should need. The hosts Evelyn and Duncan are friendly, attentive and do all they can to ensure a comfortable stay. The welcome pack was so generous! We will definitely be going back to Craigard Chalet and will recommend it to our friends.

Quiet retreat in Eig

What to even say about this place? Stayed here for 4 days before Christmas and it was magic. The owners left us a welcome hamper full of Christmas goodies and have really worked to make this place a home away from home. Beautiful views and very quiet - only 15mins from Portree. We spent a lot of time out in the wilderness and it was so nice coming back to this place each evening. Super soft bed, great bathroom facilities and the laundry came in clutch! Would love to come back and stay in the summer months.

Beautiful retreat

The chalet sits on a hill so you get views over an inlet with hills beyond. Lounge kitchen very well appointed (for those without either Alexa or Google play a learning curve) with audio and tv. Kitchen very nicely done. Plenty of dishwasher tablets. The provision of washing machine and dryer a real boon, especially with soap and conditioner. Bathroom equally well fitted out. Shower was excellent. My wife has insisted on buying more of the toilet soap. Towels are great, soft, and plenty of them. Bedroom very comfortable, plenty of storage. Evelyn and Duncan were excellent hosts Altogether…. Great

Very disappointed there was no outdoor heated pool with butler service.😂

Wonderful! You'll love it.

The chalet was modern and very cozy. It had a full kitchen and great size bathroom and bedroom. It has an amazing view and we especially loved the sheep in the pasture in the hills behind it. Evelyn was great at communicating with me and also provided some restocking for us during our stay. A lovely gift basket was left for us as well. They have definitely put much time and care into thinking of the needs of those who stay there. Very comfortable chalet.

The only thing I would suggest, and its minor, would be that it would be nice if there were a few more dishes/glasses/silverware (6 instead of 3 or 4). It had a dishwasher, but we were constantly washing by hand instead as it didn't fill the dishwasher fully to run and we wanted to be environmentally conscious.

It was a fantastic holiday with excellent accommodation, super hosts, and a lovely location.

Everything needed for a self-catering holiday was provided. The bed was massive and super comfortable. The shower cubicle was big enough for two. The views from the chalet were breathtaking.

Wonderful, comfortable and well equipped property with excellent and attentive hosts who had very thoughtfully provided a welcome package of some essentials and goodies. Finished and decorated to a high standard, the chalet was modern, exceptionally clean and welcoming. Lovely and comfortable to return to after a day out in the hills or on rainy days to have a lazy afternoon playing games, watching tv or relaxing. Can’t recommend it enough.

Craigard Chalet was amazing - the best we've ever stayed in. Beautifully located with an incredible loch view. Wonderfully comfortable - everything in the chalet was top quality with lovely leather chairs/sofa with footrests and the biggest, most comfortable bed. And the shower... Lovely. The weather in beautiful Skye is changeable and this cottage was the perfect retreat. It even had smart TVs and Bluetooth speakers. Not to mention a lovely welcome pack. We will definitely be back...

We had an amazing week in a superb chalet and the weather wasn't too bad!

Superb location, lovely views, chalet was amazing finished to a very high standard. Very friendly host (only met Evelyn who was lovely, I'm sure Duncan is the same!!) Lovely welcome pack. Loved using the Google smart speaker, not used one before....Great fun!

Being honest could have done with a bigger fridge as we struggled at the beginning of the week to get 7 days worth of fresh food/drink in it. Also one night we cooked some potatoes and found that there was no potato masher.
