Felt like a home not a rental property. Very quiet for how central it is.

Felt like a home not a rental property. Very easy to check-in, great central property but surprisingly private for how close it is to downtown. Lovely private courtyard and well equipped with everything you could need.

Would love a little more history about the property and how it came to be. We were curious how old the cottage was and how it came to be situated between so many other buildings, what was build when etc…

Would definitely stay here again!

The location was very walkable with several options for restaurants, bars & shopping. Even though it's close to a lot of places, it's still nicely set off on a quiet street. The beds were all comfortable, and the cottage was very well appointed. If you will have your own vehicle, be prepared to pay for parking. Street parking is hard to come by. I ended up using Union Square Car park, which worked out nicely. It's less than 10 minutes away on foot. Not cheap but it's got covered parking & no time limit for how long you can stay. They read your license plate on entry, then when you leave, they read your plate again & it tells how much you owe & you just tap your card to pay.

A perfect little escape

This accomodation is a little gem of a find. More than enough room for the 3 of us. Very clean, warm and well laid out. Comfy beds and fluffy towels were a lovely bonus. The location is excellent and even though it's next to the harbour once you're in the cottage you hear nothing. The directions for access were clear, exact and easy to follow. Will definitely be back.

A cosy, authentic Scottish cottage experience.

Cosy cottage beautifully decorated with an eye for details. Great location, close to both the city centre and the beach boulevard. Welcoming and helpful hosts. Fully equipped through and through.

The drafts kept the cottage a bit cold inside which also felt a bit moisty at times. The oven was not clean, so there was a bit of smoke when using it.

Location central but by a shipyard and not very pleasant . Also because of a one way system is not very convenient for driving and parking can only be found ( if lucky ) very far away. Property needs a bit of a facelift : tree at entrance overgrown and makes access difficult and also drenched us when raining . Furniture looks tired

The property was very clean inside and comfortable. I loved the owners own personality though the cottage with interesting books and artwork.

Parking was only issue because I have a van and couldn’t use the overnight garages. But I managed to get parked outside with us a double yellow lines so it’s a risk to park there.

A few safety issues. Kettle doesn’t switch off. Stools were unstable (felt like screws needed tightened), floor in kitchen needs attention as trip hazard. Also picture fell off wall.

I really appreciated the location of this cottage. So central. Close to shops and facilities. Also cottage itself super cute and comfortable. A lovely landing place

The kitchen is Well equipped, and there’s a cozy living room. The host as Well was qvailable and cordial

The only thing that didn’t properly work was the shower, the water pressure was very light and either too hot or too cold.

The location was amazing for us as we arrived by bus and it was literally a 5 mins walk to the cottage. It is also a good location for town or a base to explore surrounding area. It felt much more homely than a hotel or your average apartment and had lots of nice touches like a good library and toiletries.

The only issue would be due to its layout if one person was up in the morning or still up at night everyone else can hear them.
