Extremely good value place to stay

Very close to the university. Small Tesco express down the road. Close to the beach. Extremely kind and attentive host, thank you Bona. Also Susi who couldn’t do enough for us. Very relaxed house. Bed very comfy and we slept well. For the price I think it’s extremely good value. Breakfast items left in the kitchen for you to help yourself to. Porridge, bread, Jams, marmalade and butter. Tray to make yourself teas and coffees. Shower very powerful. My only real issue was the TV as we just couldn’t get it working, but as we were very busy over the few days we were there, it wasn’t that much of a hassle.

Not much I'm sorry to say. I tried it at least.

Parking is available but can be a problem getting in and out the drive, unable to gain entry to premises as lockbox not clearly visible or stated where to find in pre-arrival information. No quick contact method to get answers from the owner of the property and nobody onsite to help. Very basic and difficulties accessing normal TV which is internet based. No window in room, very dated accommodation and there were no toiletries as advertised. Might suit someone who is ok sharing and wants a budget accommodation.

Terrible

Light in the room was not working, had to search full house for wee night light ti have any light in the room. There was no hot water, couldnt take a shower for two days only wash a bit with cold water. Dirty, dust everywere - shower mouldy, 30 bottles of half used shower gels in the shower, only good things were comfy bed and wi-fi, I would never stay again

Host was super accommodating and adjusted us on a ground floor upon request. Car parking was available free of cost Kitchen facilities

Pleasant stay, very convenient for University.

Pleasant and comfortable. There appears to be a leak from the radiator tap in Room 4, I left laundry by it and it was soaking in the morning. Needs attention.

Quiet, value for money

The bedroom door was difficult to open and rubbed on the floor so struggled with opening and closing. I could not watch the tv as I could not work out how to connect my iPhone to the tv and it appeared at the tv itself was not connected to the network. Also could do with a fan in the room rather than just the fan heater. In addition to the central heating. It was really warm when I arrived

Most comfortable and relaxing home from home place

Feeling of being home from home. Everything provided with great value for money, Clean and looks newly refurbished. Close to main road and bus stop with easy access to town centre, A very safe place to be with a peace of mind.

Musty damp, chair with three legs tiny window in room no other windows. I could not even stay here for 5 minutes. I had to get help to get front door open it was jammed with damp

I'm not fussy, but, this was pretty poor. Padlock on bedroom door. Personal belongings in room. Downstairs toilet didn't work. Kitchen facilities were strange.

Very little I'm afraid. The house was warm and the bed was comfortable and the host was pleasant.

Fulfilling stay in a home away from home.

The hosts were very friendly and helpful. Free snacks and drinks available at any time....that was unique!!! Communication was excellent before, during and after my stay. Most especially discovering the Chief host is in my profession! It was conducive to work from home for a whole day. Nice internet service and special requests met. Available free parking space.

There was no wardrobe or hangers for my clothes. Breakfast had no protein component to make it a balanced diet.

Very pleased would stay again

The owners of the property were very polite and extremely welcoming. I wasn’t able to have the breakfast available in the morning due to early starts. The property is in a good location regularly buses available to take you into the city centre, there is a pub a few minutes walk away that is very week priced probably because it is opposite the uni. The bed was comfortable and there was ample storage for clothing. Very well priced would definitely stay again if to return to the city.

The property could use a little TLC but it is still very reasonable and completely acceptable for the price paid.

Exceptional

Bona was lovely, and the room was very comfortable. they were accommodating and let me check in early when my train arrived early, and shared some good points of interest with me while I was there. a good basic breakfast provided each morning and facilities were good too.

I liked everything, the only thing would be to have maybe a regular peanut butter option so that not all of the spreads are chocolate or biscuit flavour, but that's honestly not a major at all.

This wasn't just a B&B, the owners basically opened the doors to their house for us like we were their guests visiting. I nearly forgot I was paying to stay, the hospitality was top notch. I'd definitely come back here again

So welcoming and friendly, really made our trip

The locations was great, so close to the beach and Aberdeen center plus some lovely walks alone the way, or plenty of buses when we didn’t want to walk And always breakfast choices on the table in the mornings

The room was fine clean and tidy bed was comfortable. Plenty of drawer space if you needed it.

The kitchen and eating area was very poor. Boxes of cereal left open dishes piled high at side of sink. Bin in kitchen full. Washing all hung over utility room. Terrace area had weeds taller than me. Room door closed over with small padlock with no key. Larger padlock in room with no combination we had to buy a new padlock. 2nd night owners wife knocked door at 10pm asked for car to be moved I had to get out of bed and dressed to do this. No tea making facilities in room. No bin in room. It certainly was not as described on booking .com .

It's a shared flat with dirt and mess. "Our" room was open (broken lock) and the bed looked like someone had just gotten out of it. Dirt and mess, foreign objects lying everywhere, the worst was the bathroom and kitchen, including dirty dishes in the sink. False information on the booking website - no terrace, no garden furniture. No privacy and security, just dirt and mess. In addition, strangers were moving around the apartment and the room could not be locked (broken lock). Worst booking experience in 13 years of using worldwide. Even though we refused to stay here, the owner refused to refund the money. This accommodation spoils the good name of booking. We recommend that booking conduct an unannounced on-site inspection.

Great place.to stay

The room was comfortable and everything you need. Got o the kitchen and make yourself a coffee in the morning, breakfast was there for you. Great shower. The host Bano was exceptional, so welcoming, nothing was any trouble and very easy to get on with. Hope he makes good use of those gloves. Hahaha. Parking at the house was great. Location was perfect for me as i was shooting a competition at the uni field which was literally a 1min walk

Location was nice. Car parking was good and infront of the house. Bathroom was good. Overall a peasefull area to be in.

The room was filled with owners belongings (dress, shoes and everything else). I do not think this was supposed to be a room hosted for guests as there is construction going on at the property but as a person who paid money for the stay I was very dissapointed. I barely had a bed space and a TV at the place. Dont get me wrong, the place is a proper furnished house but only downfall is that, my room was not ready for a guest. If I did share a friends room with his belongings I can understand but with a money payment for a stay I expect it to be free from personal belongings in the room. Also free breakfast was advertised but I did not have any at the property.

Excellent place to stay!

The location is amazing, right next to Old Aberdeen. The room was clean and lovely to stay in. The kitchen always stocked with stiff for breakfast and the owner was incredibly nice and helpful!
