The overall appearance of the hotel is nice and the staff were welcoming. George in the bar was very nice and helpful too.

Breakfast was very expensive and not worth the money. It wasn't very hot and clearly had been sitting out for a while.

Great stay

We had a wonderful stay here, the staff on front desk are excellent and very efficient.

It was very difficult to book the room online, so we had to book via Booking . com. On the surface the room was clean, but the bathroom and bedroom desperately need a deep clean, the light colour floor grout is black and there are lots of stains, all an easy fix but housekeeping need to check thoroughly.

Friendly spacious hotel with fantastic staff.

The hotel is beautiful spotless and spacious. The staff were fantastic, we were visiting for my daughter’s 8th birthday and everyone was so accommodating and kind. The ladies at breakfast were especially lovely and made a fuss over my daughter on the day of her birthday. We will definitely be back.

The only downside was that the room was too hot at night despite having the thermostat as low as possible.

Lovely hotel, just needs a little bit of attention to the dining experience

Beautiful located in the city centre. High ceilings in all the rooms, which give the rooms a unique feel, with a large shower space. Modern in design. We had a few family members staying as well. So we were all in different areas of the hotel.

Unfortunately the food wasn’t great. We had dinner and service in the bar was slow..

The room cleanliness could have been better. Whilst on the surface it initially looked great finding food wrappers and bits of tissue around the furniture was not so good.

Lovely hotel

Receptionist was really nice and I dont think it was just because it was her job she was just a lovely person.forgot her nsme but youll see who gave us our key.

At first we found so many corridors maybe next time ask for a nearer room we got lost on way back ..the let down was the restaurant booked a table for 7pm had already had a glass of wine before dinner.my daughter phoned and orgsnised a bottle of wine on the table.i had to go look for someone to take our order after 15 minutes .only 4 in total around us so not busy.our dinner came at 8pm it was awful. Waitress agreen.offered us a replacement but by this time we had drank the wine.so they offered two free sweets we refused but i asked for a prawn starter as i was hungry.they charged us for it. Shame ruined a birthday.found out later the others complained also..i told reception on leaving thought we would be offered a free night as our celebration was supposed to be a nice meal

Discreet from the outside & stylish inside. This is a large hotel but the layout and decor give a more intimate feel. The staff were helpful and the rooms were a good size. Clean and fresh throughout.

It is awkward having to walk to the reception when arriving to get the access code to the overflow carpark. It would be better if on the day it was texted to you in advance.

A pleasure, great for families or any other means.

A very modern hotel, right in the city centre so a great location. Shops and restaurants close by. Staff were excellent with us, lovely people at reception. Good sized room, loved the high roof. Great temperature in the room, bathroom was spacious.

A minor issue was condition of one or two of the pillows, seemed grotty, probably should have been replaced before our stay.

Excellent minus the manager on duty

everything was perfect minus the manager on duty.

I couldn’t pay with cash without photographic ID?? They told me it was company policy to show ID when paying by cash!!! But when I asked where does it say this on the listing, they informed me that they didn’t actually put this on their booking confirmation! I was told too deposit cash into the bank with my card, but it was a Sunday, so the banks were shut!! I had to contact a family member to send money into the account even thought I had cash on me for the room!! They should really update their company policy as I don’t carry a crystal ball around with me.This was just after arriving after a 4 hour train journey and I lost around an hour trying too sort this.A bit weird having to have photographic ID to pay by cash even though I had the emails and all the confirmation on my phone.The hotel itself is fantastic but the staff weren’t helpful at all, well more so the manager I spoke with.Very backward.But everything else was perfect
