I have stayed at this hotel several times. It is basic and no frills and the price reflects that but the location is fantastic. The room is clean with comfortable bed and bedding and excellent towels. The staff are exceptional, friendly and helpful. I look forward to my next stay.

The staff were extremely friendly, polite and courteous, definitely the best thing about this hotel. The room itself was very basic, with an unpleasant smell and parts of the walls peeling away. The place is quite run-down and could definitely do with some TLC. It's certainly not a luxury hotel! The location was decent, although getting there involved climbing what felt like a hundred steps, which wasn't ideal. That said, for just £***for the night, you can't really complain too much. It served its purpose as somewhere to get your head down for one night. Cheap and cheerful, nothing fancy, just somewhere to sleep and move on. Overall, friendly staff, a tired and dated hotel, but reasonable value for £*** if you're only staying one night.

Good basic clean accommodation, excellent location,

Probably the worst place that I have stayed in. Staff that can't even understand English let alone speak it. This is what *** gets you for a 2 night stay. There is nothing positive to say about this place apart from it's proximity to Aberdeen Train Station and Union Street. Do not be taken in by the carefully choreographed bedroom and reception photos posted on the various hotel booking sites. Really run down and badly managed. The photo evidence speaks for itself.
