Room small but had necessary items kettle, sink, shower room near room.
Location good and glad to get a room at last minute but not keen on stairs winding up to room. TV reception was not good for basic TV programmers bad reception.
TV bad reception, unable to tune in to basic stations.
Would have liked another pillow as only had one.

They let me leave the bag earlier, it was quite clean.
The room 8 is very small. The bed is right under the window in the ceiling and the wall is too near the head.
They left me a milk but didn’t provide tea or coffee but there is a kettle.

Very clean, kettle fridge and microwave in the room. Carparking at back
Small room was a small attic room, but fine for a normal sized person for 1 night.

It was in a good location
The shared bathroom and toilet , no toilet paper , the tea and coffees facilities two milk portions no spoon , fridge in room turned off wiring of appliances all over the place , clean but crying out to be updated . Price was fair but no light on landing accessing the key box , as I said a update and just sorting the small things as I’ve listed would go a long way .i won’t be back but could be a better place .

Very central , easy to find. Nice big shower downstairs.
No hot water at sink for a shave either at night or in the morning.

Close to city centre. An easy 10 minute walk from the station. The instructions and codes needed to gain access to the property and the room key were clear and easy to use. The room was clean and had tea and coffee making facilities as well as a microwave. Good value for what it offered.
Rather impersonal with no staff around. The small room was very small!

It was OK for the price and located in a good central part of Aberdeen.

Location, was great for shops and tourists.
Place was very quite, and locals friendly too.
Good transportation links and The Tall Ships, were the best I've ever seen. Great night life especially, the long weekend, Keiser Chiefs, Ministry of Sound, Classical. Tide Lines, plus Deacon Blue,.
The lack of hosts on site, too sterile for my liking, as I had my own B+B, in Fort William.
You don't just feel, like a bit cash.
The way you have to gain access via, a pin number, you normally forget, well I do
No don't like this, and when problems, hit finding help is quite hard

We were pleasantly surprised by how well-equipped the rooms were — everything we needed for a comfortable, self-catering stay was provided, and more than we had expected. The space was clean, practical, and thoughtfully laid out.
Communication from the hosts was clear and helpful throughout, which made arrival and settling in easy.
Overall, a very good stay — convenient, comfortable, and great for travellers wanting a little independence.
One thing to note: in some cases, the bathrooms aren’t on the same floor as the bedrooms. It wasn’t a problem for us, but a heads-up in advance would have been appreciated.

Location excellent. Cleaner very friendly and helpful and welcoming. Room clean, quiet and excellent value for money. Short walk from city. Sunset Song author lived near here at start of 20th century.
They sent email with details of room at check in via door bell video link. I don't have internet on phone but the Cleaner was there to welcome me in so it was ok.

Central location, easy check-in. Good wifi and the room was clean and spacious (bigger then we expected) and beds comfortable. The room had a fridge, an electric kettle and even a microwave plus plates, mugs, glasses and cutlery. Complimentary water bottles, tea, coffee and milk were a bonus. Shared bathrooms were very god and clean. Quiet place, we had an excellent night's sleep. Good value for money.
Nothing to complain about the accommodation.
Unfortunately we couldn't use the guesthouse car park as our car isn't LEZ compliant so parked a bit further away outside the LEZ. No fault of the property but something to bear in mind if arriving in Aberdeen by car.

The location was great, very close to the union station and a big shopping center. The room had everything I needed. It was a nice touch to have some tea and coffee as an extra.
The bathroom door on the second floor was missing making it extremely hard to shower. The shower handle wasn’t stable and was falling all the time at me when I was showering. The fridge wasn’t in the best condition and smelled a bit like a rotten food inside.

The location was great. The self check-in was very easy. Nice little touch with the added extras in the room (small fridge, microwave, kettle, tea, coffee and bottled water, plates and cutlery, a sink). Bed was comfortable. Free parking at back of property. Very little noise from street. Shared bathroom was more modern than room.
The smell of mould/damp in the room. Decore (carpet, curtains and bed sheets included) outdated. Room needs freshened up/modernised. Dirty bed base sheet. Room had 2 TVs and no remote control for either. Shared bathroom (up stairs) had no towels to dry hands. Shower needs replaced.

They provided tea and coffee and a kettle, but no cups to put it in.

A simple room but everything, especially the shared bathrooms, were spotlessly clean. It was quiet and the staff were friendly and helpful.

The guesthouse had great reviews so I gave it a chance, but personally I wouldn't stay there again. There is a very strong industrial cleaner smell (I really didn't like it), and I had some problems with my room (light next to the bed didn't work, neither did one of the sockets, the part to change the heater came off in my hand and exposed my other hand to the hot metal of the radiator, soap dispenser in the toilet is broken, no mixers or teaspoons for the tea).

The location is convenient for the centre of Aberdeen and the railway station
There's no communal space, but as I was travelling for work, that didn't really matter.

The only thing I didn’t like was that there was no bin in the bedroom

Fridge, microwave, kettle and teas and coffees, sink in room
There was something in the air in the room I was initially allocated that caused stinging eyes, chest pain and a metallic taste in the mouth. The next day, I was given an upgrade to a much bigger room and bed, at no extra cost, which was appreciated. However, on moving in, there was a strong smell of paint. When I commented on this, I was told that the room had recently been painted. The window had to be left open for several hours to get rid of the odour, which made the room even colder than it had been on entering. The following day, despite the window having been closed for many hours by this time , the room, my hands, fingers and face were still very cold, even though the heating had been turned up for some time. I was told that the heating is on a timer. When I asked the times it comes on at, the person said he didn't know and walked off seemingly offended at this question. I was later provided with a portable heater and the room did eventually warm up by the evening. Just when I was putting the unpleasantries of the first couple of days behind me and looking forward to writing a positive review of my 4-night stay, on the last evening, a strong smell of paint entered the room and hung in the air throughout the night, making it impossible to sleep. Could also smell cigarette smoke outside the room on the last day.

Location, and owners were great communicators.
The room would really benefit from a bedside lamp. Having to use the master light switch in the middle of the night is an adventure.
