Amazing experience

The room was nice and clean, plenty of towels, very clean bedding. The staff was friendly, breakfast was amazing. Family and dog friendly.

There is an extra fee for your pet that is not covered in your booking price, even if you tick the box "travelling with pets". You will be charged on check out.

Good hotel for a couple of days in Aberdeen

Clean room, clean shower area. Breakfast is relatively basic, not changing, but good to start up the day. Staff are friendly and welcoming. Maybe except that one lady :)

High-pitched sound that was impossible to get rid of. The earplugs helped though. Bar area wasn't very attractive.

We were given keys which opened a room that was some one else’s once we got in . Security risk here We were told it was a computer glitch That shouldn’t have happened. I felt I should have been compensated as was potentially very embarrassing and I felt not safe in my room. So I bolted the door

Pleasant stay in a central location.

The central location is excellent. The staff, particularly the lady at check-in, were very helpful and we were able to check in early. The room was very clean and had everything we needed and we slept very well. The breakfast is quite basic and I could not drink the coffee. Overall however it was good value for money and we will definitely return.

It was a nice stay.

Staff was very friendly and helpful, location and accessibility is great. Hot breakfast is great too.

- The rooms were very cold. There was no way to adjust the temperature, and there was no extra blanket (the duvet is rather short, so my shoulders were exposed) so I used the extra towel to wrap around my shoulders at night. Perhaps offer an extra blanket; not all your guests are used to the relatively chilly Aberdeen climate.. - There were no drawers whatsoever, only open spaces in the cupboard. As a woman, it would be really nice to be able to put away certain types clothes (e.g. underwear!) in drawers, especially if you stay an entire week like I did. - the bathroom door structure. The door that separates the bathroom from the main room is the same door that closes the toilet. When you are not used to this door hinge structure, it is rather easy to get your fingers caught between the toilet wall and door when leaving the bathroom. A warning might be helpful.

The location was very good. It was very good value, especially as breakfast is included in the price. Staff were helpful.

Very little space in the room once the sofa was converted to a bed for family of three. We had to put the study chair on the corridor as there wasn't space for it in the room.

Half & Half

Location was decent as it was in the middle of everything - the breakfast was decent nice spread.

The room did not have a vent system, and neither did the bathroom / toilet. The room we were in was right next to the main road plus toppled with the seagulls obviously I know that cannot be helped. When you shut the windows due to the noise, it is impossible to sleep - its Summer!! As there is no aircon or a fan, the room is stuffy and hot i had to say I was checking out before a fan was provided. I ended up leaving 2 nights before my checkout date as I couldn't bare it.

An ideal, comfortable base for a city break in Aberdeen

A convenient location just off the main Union Street and a 5 minute taxi drive from the railway station. Staff were very helpful, the delicious breakfast was self service with hot and cold food and the room was spotlessly clean. An iron, ironing board and hairdryer was in the room together with a kettle

The room would have benefitted with more brighter lighting in the middle section, only small LED lamps beside the bed and the TV had to be retuned every time it was switched on. The dual functioning door of the bathroom which also closes off the toilet area inside nearly trapped my fingers, thank goodness for a over hanging towel. A high step up into the shower cubicle too

A great option

The room was quite big, no air conditioning but it had a fan. The bathroom was a bit funky in that the bathroom door doubled as a door for the toilet or the whole bathroom. It had off street parking, although the spaces were TIGHT and cost extra.

I enjoyed staying in the centre as we were within walking distance to all places we were visiting.

The hotel had good location and nice bar, breakfast area.

I would appreciate warning about the size of car park. I have booked a space but when I arrived the place was full and it was very hard to turn around and try to get out of the place. I found it too challenging after four hours drive to deal with. We had the sofa made into bed. I would suggest to take the black chair out of the room when this is a case as there was no room to walk around the main bed.
