Felt very homely and was extremely clean
The other residents at the time where all male workers which made my wife feel a little uncomfortable but this is something we understand cannot be helped

Lovely guesthouse very warm and welcoming as we're the hosts. Everything explained very well and rooms very nicely decorated and comfortable everything you need for your stay over. Also breakfast spot on 100% i would recommend The Jay's Guesthouse .I will be staying again if I visit aberdeen

The proprietor was pleasant and the breakfast was good.
The self- check in process is impersonal and not really in keeping with the notion of a ‘guest house’. The room was freezing cold and smelt damp on arrival. Suggest keeping the heating on low a couple of hours prior to guest arrival.
