Excellent central Aberdeen place.

Helpful staff and straightforward procedures. Good sized room, nicely furnished. Enjoyable complementary breakfast. Very central in Aberdeen. Housekeeping is discreet and efficient. Large bed.

Staff were lovely, room very clean and spacious. Loved the studio room with the kitchenette. Breakfast was very good with plenty of choices. We arrived at a peak time for breakfast but did not have long to wait, staff were very accommodating.

Comfortable, quiet, central stay

Extremely helpful and friendly staff from pre-stay phone enquiry right through my stay. Quiet room, very comfortable bed, nice layout of room, good shower, complimentary water. Umbrellas on loan came in handy. Great location in walking distance to everything, and while very central still so quiet. Macky’s Scottish ice cream parlour next door highly recommended.

Small things (but small things matter at a high end place). Breakfast was perfectly okay (nice fresh croissants) but not outstanding. Fruit salad looked a bit loveless. Nutella and vegan spread would have been nice touches. With regards to plastic waste, while there were less single-use buffet items, there were still some. And I’d have appreciated a dish sponge and washing up liquid in the room, for one plate and knife I didn’t run the dishwasher.

Loved the location, perfectly central

The central location. And a really brilliant and comfortable room with kitchen facilities if you needed them.

The breakfast was a bit hit and miss, you had to order extras instead of them being out on the buffet table. This was not made clear from the first day. By day 3 we had sussed it.

Location ,size of room and beautifully fitted out rooms/bathroom,spotlessly clean with helpful staff

The car park,finding it having to phone for a code to get in,not very accessible especially with the Xmas market on just now,having to phone to make sure of availability.pillows on bed were extremely hard/high had a really sore neck in the morning,but lovely hotel otherwise

It wasn’t the property that was that was the issue. It was the breakfast we were served from the kitchen, the rude waitress, was the icing on the cake. Every other member of staff were lovely.

From booking to checking out, the whole experience was friendly, easy and value for money.

Location is great, rooms were clean, MOST staff very nice, friendly and helpful bar one in particular we encountered!

One staff member who was rude, unhelpful and left us feeling like we weren't good enough to be staying at hotel....MARINA really needs some training if she wants a job front of house - she is there to help customers not put them off 🙄

Very good

Aberdeen City Council are doing their utmost to kill off Union Street. They have succeeded in George Street and Residence inn is collateral damage. To get to the hotel's main entrance by car is not possible. There are many positives, but the Breakfast Chef is a gem. He is an excellent cook and very helpful. And the breakfast is very good. Staff, a bit revolving door policy, but generally helpfull, polite and serviceminded.

Have stayed before - very comfy rooms and beds. ‘free’ breakfast - slightly weird system where part of the hot breakfast has to be ordered separately from what is actually out. Bus stop for the airport bus practically outside. Very good Miller & Carter restaurant down the road, but you have to book.

There was an issue with the kitchen at breakfast time and ordered food was delayed or just didn’t appear…….not convinced that the staff were writing down orders for chef !!!! Can’t fault the quality of food that was available.
