This os the best B&B in Aberdeen

I was a little late getting to the B&B largely due to the weather conditions, Evelyn was nice enough to call to make sure that I was still coming and if everything was okay. The bed in my room was so comfortable I had the best sleep and never woke till my alarm went off. The breakfast in the morning was superb I had the full breakfast as recommended by Evelyn. It arrived it was hot just what you need on a cold day in Aberdeen. It also kept you full most of the day. Both Charlie and Evelyn made you feel so welcome when you arrive. They really are a lovely couple. I certainly recommend this B&B to stay when in Aberdeen. I will certainly stay there again. Before I forget they also have free parking behind their house which is a bonus in Aberdeen.

Fantastic location, had good parking available for guests. Not easy to find in Aberdeen. Stayed in a comfortable room with nice en-suite. Breakfasts were great and owners went out of the way to make me feel welcome

Lovely, friendly B&B with great breakfast

Hosts were very friendly and welcoming. I really liked the cooked breakfast as well. The hotel was very warm which I was glad about considering it was late November! The room was facing a busy road but we were impressed with how sound

Everything was fine, the only issues were minor - occasionally there was a drain smell from our sink (but this wasn't constant, it seemed to happen only in the evening? I meant to mention it to the hosts but forgot) and the only other thing I would say would be that some coat hooks on the wall/door would have been useful.

The hosts are very welcoming and accommodating. A very enjoyable visit once again.

The breakfast was lovely, just the right amount and perfectly cooked. The use of the fridge in the breakfast room was much appreciated and the bed was extremely comfortable. I had 3 very good nights' sleep. This was my second visit to the guest house and I will definitely be back if I return to Aberdeen.

A fantastic weekend.

The accommodation was situated close to the event we were attending and was easy for bus routes into and out of Aberdeen city centre. The people were friendly and welcoming, the breakfast was good quality and plentiful. Overall a great weekend.

Home away from home, with Scottish breakfast everyday

Evelyn and Charlie are very nice and welcoming (nicest host we ever met). We had excellent breakfast everyday (couldn't ask for more), we ate very well and we had lots of fruits to eat too. Their house is a very cosy place to stay, feels like home. There are bus stops nearby, which are very practical to come from the airport, easy to go to our event at P&J live or to the city center. Many supermarkets and restaurants nearby too. We have been travelling to many places, this is the best place that gives you good value for money.

First class guest house where you will be provided all that you require for a wonderful stay whilst in Aberdeen, I wish I could pick up this bed and breakfast, it is so good I wish I could take it with me wherever I require a place to stay. From the warmest of welcomes, you will receive awesome five-star service for the duration of your residence, and nothing seems too much trouble. The room was brilliant, functional, well-appointed, nice décor, well-maintained and spotlessly clean with a sleep-inducing bed with fabulous mattress, pillows and duvet together with a modern smart TV and good Wi-Fi. The highlight of the stay for me was the breakfast; an extensive cold buffet selection accompanied by a delicious full-cooked breakfast of high-quality ingredients cooked superbly and presented with panache; a truly wonderful start to the day. Located on the main road leading to the city centre, the airport and the city’s main hospital, with buses connecting these places stopping frequently just a few steps from the front door.

The cooked breakfast was lovely and the owners were really friendly. The single room was small but it was clean and comfortable. The shower was great. A bit out of the city centre but easy enough to get to on the bus. A very decent price for 40 pounds a night including breakfast.

Nothing to criticise. Struggled a bit with getting the room key to work but probably my issue.

Wonderful accommodation

Thank you to Evelyn and Charlie for having me as your guest and I really enjoyed my stay. The bathroom and bedroom was very well equipped and nicely decorated. I was treated to a beautiful breakfast, I wish I could've stayed longer but had an early train to catch! No doubt exceptional value for money and I look forward to returning!

A great stay at the Arkaig

Lovely b & b 💖 run by wonderful hosts Charlie and Evelyn. Comfy beds with tea and coffee facilities. Awesome breakfast to set you up for the day ahead. Bus stop outside single £2 to £3.50 or a leisurely walk into the city. Aberdeen has a lot to offer. I recommend a walking tour to unlock the history of the granite city.. I have taken the business card of the Arkaig and will book the next time staying in Aberdeen - bravo 👏 folks .

Comfortable and convenient place to stay in Aberdeen

My second proper traditional B&B of the trip. The Scottish obviously know something about providing a decent service. And a very nice b'fast it was too! The room was on the first floor and very comfortable. Despite being in a big city there is dedicated car parking in an adjacent road which is a big plus for anyone in a car. Avoids problems of parking restrictions and charges. Were I to revisit Aberdeen, I would rebook Arkaig. Arkaig is not in the town centre but is a short bus ride away with the stop just opposite. I actually walked it as well so really no distance. So don't be put off by location. Places to eat out in the immediate vicinity were limited - it is basically a residential area - but go into the city for plenty of choice.
