The hosts responded quickly to messages. The accommodation was generally very clean. The amenities were good. The location and the area were also great.

Overall, it was a good stay. However, we noticed several issues during our time there. Most importantly, the previous tenant had an accident that damaged the stovetop; it now has two huge cracks running across the entire surface. Unfortunately, we were not informed about this beforehand. As this posed a safety risk, we asked the landlords for advice. They said the stovetop had been tested and still worked, suggesting we simply use the two burners on the right. We would have expected a suitable replacement to be provided, given that portable hot plates are available for purchase. In addition to this defect, we noticed that the sink in the large bathroom drained poorly. There were several hairs on the shower wall and on the bar of soap in the shower. There was also very little counter space in the large bathroom because the small cabinet was filled with items left by previous tenants. The blind on the bathroom door was broken, and the wooden door frame was badly damaged in one spot. A piece of the wooden flooring near the shower was missing, and there was no seal between the floor and the shower, requiring us to be very careful. Generally, there were few places to hang towels in the bathrooms and kitchen; one of the hooks in the large bathroom had snapped off. The light above the mirror didn't work, and the vanity mirror couldn't be adjusted because the mechanism appeared to be broken. In the small bathroom, some of the cabinet knobs were very loose. In the kitchen, the right-hand power outlet between the microwave and the window was broken, and the kettle had a burnt spot inside. There was dirt in the crevices between the stovetop and the counter, and the knobs for operating the stove and oven were dirty and sticky. While there was sleeping space for a total of five people, there were only four chairs at the dining table. The wood of the kitchen cabinets is damaged in several places, with one cabinet door being particularly badly damaged.

Gut belegte Parkplätze an der Strasse, wir fanden jedoch in Laufdistanz (100m) noch freie Plätze. (Tipp: in der Parallelstrasse gibt es noch mehr freie Plätze!).

Veliko prostorno stanovanje. Zelo udobno za bivanje družine.

V glavni spalnici je bil vonj po kajenju. Zelo neprijetno za spanje.

Perfect for our family break. Easy to get to, free on street parking outside, great location for exploring Aberdeen. Well equip kitchen, comfortable beds and two bathrooms. We loved the bright coloured bedding and homely touches.
