Perfect location, very comfortable room, great breakfast and welcoming hosts!

Beautiful house with lovely architectural features in a handy location on the main road, but not aware of traffic noise. Ample parking. Lawn with tables and chairs. Very pleasant, friendly welcome from Karen on arrival; she took the time to chat, not just throw a key at us. Bedroom was a decent size, view to front garden and mountains; beds very comfortable, pretty duvet covers. Room had everything we needed and no non-necessities to trap dust or be in your way. Spare blankets in wardrobe but we didn't need them. Well-stocked hospitality tray, and full-size kettle. Shower room also had a lovely view from the shower, which was clean, efficient, and did not leak. Adequate size. Full-size basin, trouble-free toilet, plenty of paper. Wide window-ledge was handy for toiletries. A large and a medium towel provided for each of us. Everything was immaculately clean. Room was not serviced during our 2-night stay, but I'm sure if we'd needed anything it would have been provided. Breakfast was delicious. Cereals and fruits on each table in sealed containers, so you knew no other guest had handled it. Service was prompt, attentive, friendly but not in your face.

My only negative is that it's not available on the date of my next visit to Pitlochry, as I'd be very happy to go back to Annslea.

We slept very well and the breakfast was excellent served by a very welcoming woman who could not have been more helpful.
