A short stay

The Hotel was just right for my wife and me. Unfortunately though, on arrival, I felt a bit off colour. I'd developed a heavy cold. I spent the next day in bed, but the staff went out of their way to make sure we had everything we required. They even took my wife shopping in town. Luckily, we know Pitlochry so all was well. On our day of departure, I still felt unwell, so we had another day added without any problems. We will be returning to stay again and this time, I WILL enjoy it. We can wholeheartedly recommend staying here.

Peaceful stay in a friendly hotel

All the staff were so friendly and helpful. The room was very comfortable and the bed, too. We had a lovely view. The quality of the food in the Bistro and for breakfast was excellent. The location was pretty good, with a 10 minute walk to the town centre. The veggie sausage at breakfast was particularly tasty. For better weather there is a large garden at the front with a terrace. It was very quiet at night.

Nothing at all significant. The vegetarian breakfast is smaller with 2 items less than the Scottish breakfast. It is possible to buy veggie alternatives to bacon and black pudding which would be great on the veggie breakfast, along with the veggie sausage.

Perfect, in every way!

Craigvrack Hotel has been the best hotel we have stayed in throughout our tour of Scotland. It truly is a hidden gem. The staff are amazing. The location is perfect. The rooms are perfect! Really comfortable and perfect for a trip to the highlands. We had an amazing meal here that was truly out of this world. I could not recommend this hotel more highly.

Great value for the money, even better than expected

The location is nice, the town center is only for a short walk. The room and bed was very comfortable. The lobby, bar and restaurant is very modern and nicely, tastefully decorated. The breakfast was super delicious. The gentleman in the reception was very professional and kind, he even helped me carry up the luggages. The view from the room was very nice, to the hills. The coffe, tea, hot chocholate and biscuit in the room was very kind.

The water pressure is very low in the shower but it is managable. I would choose this hotel to stay for the next time too.

The perfect overnight escape to relax and enjoy amazing food and atmosphere.

Very well located. 5-10min walk to main street. Lovely staff, Chris and Dan very friendly and polite. Restaurant was sublime, beautiful setting, amazing atmosphere, service was as incredible as the food. Probably some of the best food even eaten anywhere.

Nothing major, not state of the art but very comfortable and spotlessly clean. Going to be our new place to stay and definitely will be dining there! Looking forward to going back

Loved the view from the window of the hillside/mountain? outside. Just breathtaking.

The cook didn’t seem to know how to do eggs. White part undercooked and still slimey. Yuck!

The facilities.were first class. The room was clean and tidy and the location of the hotel was.good. The breakfast was excelllent And the staff could not do enough to make our stay memorable. Thanks for the pick up from the theatre - it made our day.

Warm, Friendly, Welcoming Hotel in the Highlands

Fantastic hotel! Warm welcome from staff on arrival. The room was clean, spacious, comfortable and warm. Lovely Scottish toiletries in the bathroom. Tea, coffee making facilities in the room. Great selection of breakfast choices, buffet and hot breakfast, cooked to order. Fantastic Indian restaurant within the hotel, which offered a wonderful variety of fabulous dishes. This hotel was great value for money and we will certainly be returning. Thank you!

Excellent Stay!!!

We had a wonderful stay at this lovely hotel in Pitlochry. Check-in was smooth and efficient - the staff were friendly and welcoming, which made a great first impression. Our room was clean, tidy, and comfortable, with everything we needed for a relaxing stay. The beds were cozy, and the overall atmosphere was peaceful and inviting. Breakfast was absolutely exceptional - fresh, tasty, and with a great variety of options to suit everyone. The quality of the food and the service really stood out. We were a group of four adults and one child (11 years old), and we all thoroughly enjoyed our time here. Everything from the service to the cleanliness exceeded our expectations. The price was excellent too, especially considering how busy Pitlochry can be during the Enchanted Forest event. It’s a lovely place to stay, whether you’re visiting Pitlochry for a short break or a longer holiday. We’d definitely stay here again and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area!

A lovely relaxing stay!

The location was a five minute walk from the village and the fish ladder. We ate in the hotels Indian restaurant. We had the Tiffin tasting experience for two and it was beautiful and reasonably priced for the quality of food. Breakfast was equally nice. A great stay!

The room was small but comfortable and clean. Good tea tray and phone charging points very handy. Nice king size bed. The breakfast is delicious with good choice on offer including vegi options. The dining room and bar has been beautifully decorated and the food in the Cidsin indian restaurant is first class. Great food and best naan bread ever! We were very impressed with the young man looking after the tables and at breakfast, he is so helpful and professional; and all with a genuine smile. All the staff were great.

The only small thing was the toilet seat was ill fitting and wobbly. Just needs fixing.

All Good

First night in room 10: the carpet was newer and very plush. Walking in my socks was luxurious when I had to pace the floor. It was a big room. Super clean. Comfortable queen bed. The breakfast menu had the traditional Scottish breakfast along with GF bread that they toasted for me. The second night, I had to move to room #9, downstairs, because I added a night last minute and my room was already reserved. This room was smaller, and the carpet was not new but decent. It had to twin beds, which turned out to be great because a family member joined me. The most wonderful thing was the staff! 1) The reception fellow volunteered to carry my heavy bag upstairs. And when I moved downstairs, a different staffer carried my bag down. 2) We asked a staffer to call the local grocery store to see if my phone was accidentally left there, and then we'd need a taxi to the train station. He said he might be able to take us and asked the owner/ manager who said yes to taking us to the store and train station. 3) The bartender took the extra time to teach my cousin about Scottish whiskey. He explained how to make a hot totty for her sore throat.

Location was only drawback because it was a 10-12 minute walk down the hill to the main street, which meant coming back up was 15-20 minutes for me. (Had no car.)

Adequate hotel for a two night stopover with fabulous views and excellent adjoinong restaurant

We had a two night stay in this hotel which had beautiful views of surrounding area. Simple room which was spotlessly clean. The adjoining restaurant was superb. Staff helpful and accomodating
