Disaster do not stay here. Smells of dampness dirty
Arrived at this hotel knew. On arrival we had made a mistake booking this hotel. Looked more like a community centre than a hotel. It was like faulty towers receptionist doubled as bar attentent room smelt of dampness hadn’t been refurbed for about 30 yrs refused to stay. Fire alarm went off no staff about to assist. Lady who was the receptionist and the bar attentent was also the fire safety officer. For the one hr we were on the premises only saw this one member of staff. Nothing attractive or appealing about this hotel. Do not stay here it is smelly dirty and should be shut down we refused to stay and headed back home
Nothing apart from Girl on reception who tried ger best under difficult Circumstances

An over priced travelodge.
Beds were comfortable and location was great. This was the only positive.
Despite the name this is not a spa hotel. When arriving to our room there were no robes. We were told that you only get a robe if you have booked a treatment. If we wanted to have a robe we would need to pay £10 (this was to use! not a deposit!). I have never in my life been to a spa hotel that doesn't give you robes and when I said this to the receptionist she simply replied 'I dont make the rules'. She clearly gets a lot of complaints and is fed up. There was a woman in front of me complaining about how dirty her room was, the recpetionist didn't so much as bat an eye lid. Just changed her room, no apology. Pool is very small and was over crowded with teenagers and children with inflatable balls. Not one part of the experience was relaxing. Couldn't even swim a length due to how busy it was so we basically paid to sit in a pool. Hotel its self is very outdated and our bathroom was dirty. Plug hole was filled with hair!!! I was so disgusted I used the bath in my mums room, ran the bath and it was freezing! The pool was warmer.

Not worth the price
The staff were friendly.
We stayed on 21 February and booked a deluxe double (£131 plus £20 for early check-in). Unfortunately, the experience did not match the price. Our room was ground floor facing the car park with a direct view of the skip area. Privacy was an issue as people in parked cars were facing our window, so we had to keep the curtains closed. The noise was the biggest problem. We could hear shouting from the bar at night, and from around 6am the breakfast room activity started directly opposite our room — tables scraping, staff walking around and then guests arriving. It was the worst night’s sleep I’ve had in a hotel. The pool and spa facilities felt dated and not particularly clean. The steam room in particular did not look hygienic, so I chose not to use it. The staff were friendly, which was a positive, but overall £151 for one night felt very poor value for money.

Staff friendly and helpful
Convenient location
A little run down - at the entrance and external skip just outside / works ongoing. Internally being refreshed.

Rip off parking charges
Location
Have now received parking fine even though I registered my car at check in. The hotel are doing nothing to help and advised I need to follow appeal process. Disgusting way to treat customers! I will never stay here again
