The hotel is in a great location near the train station. The hosts were friendly and helpful and breakfasts were delicious. The only negative was our room was on the top floor with rather steep stairs and was quite small. The beds were fine and bathroom was spacious. We enjoyed our stay.

Stayed for a couple of days with my husband, mum and dad and small dog. From very start the owners made us feel so welcome. Showed us to our rooms which were of very high standard. Very comfortable bed and good quality linen and pillows. We were unable to eat in the dining area as we had our dog. The owner set up a lovely table at the window in the lounge for us which was very kind. The breakfast was amazing. On the first morning I had smoked salmon and scrambled egg which was delicious. On second morning I had the fried breakfast which was equally as good. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely return

Breakfast was delicious and good quality, with lots of vegetarian options. Would happily be my go-to accommodation when visiting the area.

I loved my stay. The new owners are really wonderful and are remodeling the entire place. I only wish I stayed more than one night! The breakfast was delicious and the dining room was lovely. The owners were very helpful and friendly when I arrived. They let me know the best spot in town for dinner. Pitlochry is a great little town and I highly recommend stopping there for a visit and definitely staying in this guest house! The location is also perfect. You can walk everywhere in town, yet the guest house is very quiet.

I’ve stayed at the property before but it has since changed hands! To that end it is much much better! The owners were lovely and ensured I had everything I wanted! I’m sure when I visit again and they will have put their own mark fully on the premises it will be amazing! Already with the little changes that they have done it was a lovely couple of nights!

The new owners Helen and Mark had only been there for a few weeks and had refurbised much of the building. It was in excellent condition. The welcome was both warm and informative and the breakfest highly recommended.

The window opened with a view over the car park and the treed hills beyond. Morning sun. Good wi-fi. Lighting was okay when all the lights were turned on, as the overhead was not bright enough alone. The plug in the hand basin worked (A rare thing :) ). The shower drain was blocked, but appeared to have been fixed after mentioning it. My gripe was the toilet, and why I marked some things down. It barely would flush, even after several flushes; neither toilet paper or solids. When I mentioned it some were in denial there was a problem, but one comment was, “It’s always been like that!” So a known problem, which should have been fixed. I ended up filling a bucket to assist with clearing the toilet. I would be embarrassed not to leave it properly flushed, and that was almost impossible to achieve. Fix the flush on the toilet and stop denying there's no problem.
