A thoughtfully collated loft apartment, comfortable, with easy access to town and local walks.

The Loft is self catering with option of booking breakfast if you’d prefer. The location was excellent with an easy access to the town, its shops, restaurants, and coffee shops. A very good pie shop at the bottom of the road. Pitlochry is a very neat town with an exceedingly interesting history, the dam in particular. The visitors centre is worth a look. There is a network of walks around the town and up the valley past the Loch towards Killiecrankie. I would definitely visit again if I ever have the chance. Two nights here did not feel enough to explore everything, but felt it was a tantalising taste of what the area had to offer. Would highly recommend.

Amazing quiet weekend getaway

This is our third trip to stay in the loft at Dunmurray. We absolutely love it! It's always so clean and well looked after. Norma and Dino are both lovely and always make sure their guests are happy. Perfect location in the town.

The stay catered for all our needs

Location is perfect just off the Main Street in Pitlochry. Near scenic walks and pubs/restaurants with great food. Room was very clean. Dino and Norma were great hosts and gave us great recommendations where to walk and eat.

A lovely sort stay in a fully equipped home away from home.

Review of Dunmurray Lodge Loft Apartment. 25th and 26th August 2025 We spent 2 nights in the above property and thoroughly enjoyed out stay in this outstanding self contained property. It’s was fully equipped with everything you might require for a stay away from home. The flat was spotlessly clean, very comfortable , with quality furnishing and bed linen. It is situated a very short walk away from the high street in Pitlochry and the Theatre which we also visited. We would recommend this property.

Limited view as it is situated away from the centre of Pitlochry , but the facilities and all outlined above made up for that.

The Loft was tastefully decorated and very clean. The location was excellent- close to main street in Pitlochry but still very quiet. We are definitely going to return.

The blinds on one side of the main room let in too much light but not hugely problematic in autumn.

Perfect stop on tour of Scotland

Cost of breakfast not included but we paid for one and found it to be excellent. Wonderful hosts, ideal location just off the main drag, cozy, just the retreat we were seeking.

Practically perfect in every way.

It is immaculate, private and well thought out, with everything we needed for a relaxing holiday and lovely touches to make us feel welcome. The location allowed us to explore quite an expansive area, up to the Cairngorms and across to St Andrew’s. In the evenings we went to Pitlochry Festival Theatre to catch a show, went out for dinner and did some shopping. As female travelers it was good to know the hosts were nearby, if we needed help.

We couldn’t fault it, actually.

The room was so wonderful, quiet, clean, light, furnished with love and care. And our wonderful hosts Norma and Dino gave us a very warm welcome. We felt like at home. The breakfast was perfect. Especially the yoghurt with the fresh berries and the and the tasty omelet.

A delightful warm and friendly Guesthouse with wonderful hosts making it difficult to leave.

The most beautiful Guesthouse with wonderful welcoming hosts. Our room was located on the first floor at the front of this lovely home and the guests lounge room which is immaculately furnished and decorated is available anytime. Beautifully furnished and spotlessly clean with a magnificent breakfast. Only a short walk down the hill to the delightful centre of Pitlochry which showcases Scotland beautifully. Our hosts, Norma and Dino happily advised of places to visit and some wonderful local walks. Very sad to leave and we would highly recommend to anyone visiting Pitlochry.

Beautifully decorated and comfortable, well stocked kitchen and appliances, excellent shower. Very helpful and friendly hosts, but not at all intrusive. They have thought of everything needed for a stay.

What a great guesthouse. It was spotlessly clean. We slept well. Our room had a lovely viiew. Norma and Dino were so helpful . The breakfast was really good. Dino makes a mean omlette! I have already recommended the Dunmurray to friends and would defimitely go back.
