We loved it ! It is the third year we have been fo

We liked the owner and his staff a lot, they were most hard working and helpful. Yes we enjoyed the breakfast and the New Years Eve dinner dansant very much. Our room was quiet and comfortable.

No lift and no.lounge . Extra blankets would have been good as it was very cold , but I am sure they would have supplied them if we had have asked.

It is a very pretty hotel in a great location - close to the beach and an easy walk to the main street. The restaurant is excellent

There are no tea or coffee making facilities in the room - and only one pillow per person for the bed. They also seemed very short staffed, so we had to wait a long time to get our key back.

The region and nature have possibilyties but horeca needs renovation

Breakfast buffet, coffee from cans, two kinds of bread + croissants, 1kind charcuterie! 1 kind of cheese. We did not suffer from hunger but it was realy basic. Breakfast served in a large old fashioned "refectoire" with furniture from the fifties, sixties former century.

Lack of elevator, very tiny, small room and bathroom (15 m2). Of which 3 m2 under sloping roof. The reception and dining room are demode, need absolutely renovation

Characterful, clean, comfortable, simple and very French seaside!

Characterful hotel in a great location. Room was smallish and simple but clean and comfortable. Breakfast also simple but the coffee, bread and croissant were excellent as was the juice from the orange juicer machine. Dinner was also very good with good service despite being very full (Saturday night).

Wi-fi was very, very intermittent.

Old style French hotel with a certain charm.

Easy to get to from the tunnel and well positioned in the town. Old style French hotel with no frills but offering a good breakfast and not bad value for money for that part of the coast. Friendly staff.

Pleasant

Fabulous location in a beautiful unspoilt seaside town. We stayed 1 night in a double room.. A strange arrangement of rooms along dark, narrow corridors. The room was very small, no space to move (or swing a cat!) tired and dated. Shutter didn't close, no curtains, one small pillow, I could go on.. In contrast, bathrom was roomy, modern and lovely!

Lovely hotel, lovely town, good location.

Location was lovely, in a smallish town, near the beach. Hotel was clean with a good choice of food for breakfast. Excellent value for money.

The bedside tables could have been better than rickety straw things that you couldn't put a drink on :-D Shower over the bath with just a shower curtain could have been better too. Finally, we would have liked twin beds but the hotel only has double beds.

Great location, charming seaside hotel, achieving perfect balance between old and new.

The location was great, close to the beach and all amenities in Wissant. The staff were polite and welcoming. The beautiful decor and ambience conveyed the long history of the building as a seaside hotel, but the facilities were clean, comfortable and of a modern day standard. The owners have managed to create a perfect balance between old and new in the environment. I had breakfast in the hotel which provided an ample variety of food to choose from; the dining room was spacious and calm.

The price on asked for the room on arrival was higher than when I had booked, although this was quickly attended to so that I did not pay any more than expected. The breakfast was slightly more expensive than the price displayed outside the hotel, but I did not mind paying the extra as I enjoyed a lovely breakfast.

Friendly atmospheric hotel

The atmosphere in the hotel is really historic and nice, location perfect, close to the beach. C omfortable beds and rooms.

While breakfast is tasty, the setup in the breakfast room could be improved. All the plates are stored under the feet of people taking food.

For the above reasons we would not return here. Having said that the food was very good.

The food and restaurant was excellent as were the reception staff.

The rooms were primitive to say the least but clean. They were minimally furnished. The room we were offered to start with was completely unacceptable - it had a loft ladder to access the bedroom in attic above. Fortunately, we were able to change rooms but this was certainly not value for money.

Very narrow winding staircase to 2nd floor room, sloping ceiling was a potentially dangerous obstacle to walking around bed, plus step down into bathroom, oddly wired room light switches meant that switch by the door only worked if the bedside switch was in the on position. Otherwise a pleasant enough stay, and public parking was fine.

Finally! : A hotel with very good taste: everything about it is good, beautiful and authentic.

No plastic, no shoddy things, no commercial fancy art on the walls. Everything looks so honest and good. Beautiful spacious breakfast room, perfect location.
