Stop over

Last time we stayed it was an Ibis hotel. The hotel is much improved and fresh. The staff go out of their way to make you feel welcome.

Comfortable but room

Great location for using Le Shuttle Our room was very clean and the bed was incredibly comfortable Breakfast was very well priced with a great selection of foods and drinks to choose from

We arrived around 10pm and had to ring the bell four times with a large Que of others behind us also waiting for someone to appear to check us in. Not a single member of staff in sight. The reception area was also incredibly busy with people drinking alcohol and shouting/ talking loudly. It wasn’t the best experience after a very long drive through France. Paper cups in the room for hot drinks, these are far too small and thin The room door entry system is far too long winded, we were given a 9 digit code written on a piece of paper instead of an actual key or keycard.

A lovely long weekend to meet up with our friends.

The breakfast had excellent choices, we also enjoyed the menu of the day each night of our stay. The location was also excellent as we could walk to Cité Europe shopping centre.

The lighting in the room was not good except for the bathroom which was very bright.

Very comfortable and convenient for the The Shuttle with plenty of choice of eating places close by. Staff very friendly. Unfortunately the toilet in the room we were given wasn't working so they fairly quickly moved us to a new room.

Cigarette smokers standing smoking at entrance to hotel. As a non smoker I find this unpleasant to have to walk through the smell of cigarettes smoke to enter the hotel. An area away from the entrance should be provided for smokers

Hotel is in great location for the Shuttle, and only a short drive to the ferry port at Calais. Nice bar. Food served in hotel, but also plenty of restaurants in close walking distance. Staff were very friendly and speak good English.

We loved the location, the access to Eurotunnel and shops. The room was very clean, the sockets for chargers on each side of the bed were appreciated, the extra pillows, the comfortable mattress, the secure carpark (with all these policemen around, who wouldn't🤭) and the breakfast (especially the multigrain breads). We come every year and several times a year to this hotel specifically.

Nothing really. Maybe for customers who come regularly but not for business, there could be a discount or something when it is your 3rd stay in the year for example.
