Great for a family stopover

'Executive' suite was a great room for a family. Double bed plus two singles. Separate shower and bath, toilet in a separate room. Drinks station with sink, microwave and Nespresso machine. Mini bar with a few drinks and snacks included.

Convenient overnight stay

This is a hotel that we have used for many years. We had two stays, one on our way to holiday and one on the way back. Unfortunately the first room that we had was on the 5th floor which was noisy because of the fan system so would'nt stay on the 5th floor again. It also had a mouldy patch in the corner of the room. The second stay was on the ground floor which was up to standard thank you. The staff at this hotel are very helpful and friendly.

Comfy night.

Lovely having a bath after a long drive. Fridge, kettle and microwave meant we didn't have to rely on fast food. We also got to eat at a table. The rooms are spacious. Bed was comfy.

It's not beautiful but I think everyone uses this as a stop over, so not a problem. I think they could have provided just a couple more freebie tea and sugar sachets.

The 4 star section meets 3 star standards, and cleaning needs serious improvement

Close to the Channel tunnel, large car park, large room, in-room coffee machine, 24/7 reception

Cleanliness needs serious improvement: the toilet room smelled very badly, I found hairs in the shower and clear signs that someone sat on the bed. The feeling in general was that of a low standards service, not of a 4 star hotel. The furniture is in need of minor fixes. A third of the light switches are disconnected and the active ones control lights here and there with no logic (nothing serious, but very annoying when at 3 am and tired of a long drive you get flashed, and have to go testing all the switches in the room before being able to crash onto the bed)

The hotel is perfectly located just 5 minutes from the shuttle, with ample on-site parking. The staff were welcoming and friendly.

We paid for an upgraded room, but upon arrival, we were disappointed to find it wasn’t properly cleaned. Surfaces and floors had accumulated significant dust and dirt, suggesting they hadn’t been cleaned in some time. The bathroom also had a very unpleasant odor.

amazing room , soo much space, third bed separated by a curtain, clean, bright and very comfortable, appreciated the coffee machine and fridge liked the bar area which was spacious and bright, small point loved the body wash and am actively sourcing it to buy.

Spacious room with extra amenities. Overall clean. Clean white bed linens and towels. Reasonable price including a choice of breakfast foods. Convenient location for Eurotunnel. Quiet, staff pleasant and helpful.

Bed not as comfortable as expected really firm. Sadly the toilet, it needed a proper clean, meaning the toilet bowl. There wasn't a full compliment of coffee making extras in room as should have been. We were a little disappointed having stayed at this 4* rated hotel.once before, a different room without complaint. Will go back to three 3* stayed many times with no complaints next door.

Great location and amazing staff!

Location was perfect and plenty of space in the free car park. The staff were excellent and there was an app based customer service. We could message the staff and ask for more coffee etc for the room and they responded quickly.

The air conditioning didnt work so we had to ask for a fan because the room was very warm, even in October! The toilet was very small and claustrophobic and as there were no windows in the toilet, it was a bit smelly. I expected better for the price.

Good Value for Money

We decided to go for a 4 star hotel on our return trip on Le Shuttle as we've stayed in this area before but in a 3 star which we found quite small and claustrophobic. I'm so pleased we upgraded to 4 star as this room was much larger and lighter. It had a large, comfortable bed and the bathroom had both a bath and a shower which was luxury! It also had a table and chairs and a small sink and fridge which were useful. It still provides more function over style, but overall good value for money and great for its proximity to Le Shuttle as it's only about 5 minutes away by car.

Paper drinking cups in a 4 star hotel is poor. Some of the top level shelves were dusty.

we like the location, the security of the parking and the staff always ready to give you a little bi t of extra mile we had to leave the hotel at 430 am the breakfast wasn't available but the staff let us use cappuccino machine and tables without any charge

the location is very close to euro tunnel, to exit from euro tunnel and go to hotel is a matter of two minutes that is very good, but to enter to the Eurotunnel from the hotel there is a mandatory very long route that takes 15 minutes from hotel to Eurotunnel and despite there are a lot of lamps to illuminate the road, the lamps are always switched off, the signs are not evident not illuminated and sometimes satellite doesn't help, so you are obliged to go around to find the right way to enter the eurotunnel, this waste a lot of time, increase the frustration and minimise the advantage to be so close to eurotunnel! Advice to the hotel: request to have better evident illuminated signs only for euro tunnel, insist to ask Coquelle council to switch on the lamps and convince Coquelle/Calais council to make the road to tunnel much more practical ( use same way to enter euro tunnel and to exit euro tunnel)
