We had two delightful days, will go back.

We were a party of two adults one child and a dog. We paid extra for the dog. Our rooms were a self contained flat. The landlord provided ingredients for breakfast which was a very generous selection of eggs, fruit juice, farm cheeses, bread, croissants and home made jams. The facilities were clean, and had every facility we required with lots of little extras. Wimereux is a compact little town with a lovely sandy beach and promenade.

While there is free parking nearby, the venue does not have its own parking.

Absolutely amazing old, chique French house

The host is overwhelming the guests with all the treats so that nothing is missing, everything is just perfect

We traveled with a dog and, staying on the second floor was quite tiring to carry her on the stairs (we didn’t know which appartement we will get). Moreover the floor is absolutely lovely, but made of old wood so the dog made noise by just walking around. I didn’t feel relaxed knowing that the neighbors downstairs might be distressed by that (also on early mornings), so we recommend the owner to warn the guests with dogs about that. We all want to feel relaxed while traveling and, when a pet is allowed, that shouldn’t mean we need to keep it all the time leashed inside not to make noise…

Our small apartment was extremely clean and so warm, full of the love and the traditions of the family that welcomed us.

Exceptional

Great stay. Very friendly owners who like to give details on the history of their charming, character-full house. Good breakfast. Nothing to complain, we had an excellent time. Very close to the beach and city centre.

Superb

Very friendly host, it was a self contained appartement, excellent breakfast, only a five minute walk into Wimereux centre.

There was no on site, secure parking. We had to leave the car in a nearby street - the Booking.com site says differently.

Cosy appartement run by a committed host

When we arrived at the venue, a storm flood of the night before had damaged the ground floor of all the houses in the street. In all that chaos, the host has always been very friendly and committed, asking whether we needed anything and what we would like for breakfast. The man deserves a medal! The house breathes a cosy family atmosphere and the rooms are charmingly decorated and very spacious. As for the town of Wimereux: it is a lively town compared to Wissant, where all brasseries were surprisingly closed. We definitely recommend this place!

Séjour très agréable, beaucoup de promenades avec mon chien Yumi. Wimereux est une très jolie ville

1) La situation (proximité de la digue et la plage à 3 minutes à pied) 2) Le petit déjeuner très varié et très copieux avec des produits locaux (les fromages sont excellents) 3) L'accueil du propriétaire (le monsieur) au petit soin pour ses hôtes 4) Les petites attentions (gaufres, madeleines, caramels, bouteilles d'eau et de jus d'orange) 5) Les équipements (draps, serviettes, produits de toilette et d'entretien ainsi que les produits pour cuisiner) rien ne manque

1) Le logement au 2ème étage (n'est pas spécifié à la réservation) 2) La réponse de la propriétaire (la madame) quand j'ai fait la remarque concernant le deuxième étage : si ça ne vous convient pas, il y a l'hôtel en face (sic). Heureusement que monsieur est là pour compenser ... 3) Le lave-vaisselle ne fonctionnait pas

Agréable séjour

Accueil très chaleureux du propriétaire. Appartement très bien équipé et propre, il ne manque rien et les petites attentions sont très agréables ( bonbon, gâteaux, eau fraîche…). Le petit déjeuner est copieux et délicieux avec des produits locaux, il est déposé devant la porte par le propriétaire ce qui permet de petit déjeuner quand on veut et tranquillement dans l’appartement. Maison très bien située près de la plage et près du centre. Pour le parking, il faut se garer dans la ville.

La maison aurait besoin d’un rafraîchissement notamment au niveau de la façade et de l’entrée. La maison est vraiment très ancienne.

L espace , l’hôte qui nous raconte son vécu, le petit déjeuner pantagruélique et excellent, rien que des produits frais et que dire des confitures maison et du fromage de la ferme .

We voelden ons direct welkom en thuis in dit mooie authentieke stadje en logeeradres.

Zeer proper en verzorgd en goed uitgerust appartement met alle voorzieningen. Alles was aanwezig en ook kleine attenties zoals flessen water, vers fruit, koekjes, snoep en ijskast gevuld met benodigheden voor ontbijt en om eventueel zelf te koken. Ook alles voorzien voor bad en douche (verschillende douchegels en shampoos). Gastheer zeer behulpzaam. Elke morgen ontbijtmand gebracht met (veel te veel) baguette en chocoladekoeken en croissants met heel lekkere lokale kazen die elke voorzien zijn van een bordje met de naam en de herkomst van de boerderij.

De inkom. Op het eerste zicht lijkt het een verouderde villa en oogt het niet echt verwelkomend. Het voortuintje is wel goed verzorgd. Echter eens binnen is het een heel ander gevoel. Niet echt veel plaats voorzien voor de fietsen die in de gang blijven staan.

Ik had een klein appartementje op de eerste verdieping met alles er op en er aan. Naast de slaapkamer is er ook een extra kinderkamer met 2 bedden. Koffie en thee op de kamer. Sfeervol, "cosey" ingericht. De eigenaar die beneden woont is zeer vriendelijk. Het ontbijt dat hij serveert (bij de prijs inbegrepen) is perfect met diverse streekkaasjes. Maar ook diverse soorten marmalades ontbraken niet.

Les Palmiers is een pand dat inspringt in de gevelrij met een tuin ervoor. Ik reed er tweemaal voorbij voordat ik het vond. Misschien bordje bij de straatkant?

Le petit déjeuner est varié, plein de produits frais régionaux, mention spéciale pour les confitures maison succulentes et toutes les attentions prévues par nos hôtes. Très bons conseils sur la région grâce aux connaissances de notre hôte qui adapte ses conseils en fonction de nos goûts. Le Logement est bien équipé, très spacieux et l'aménagement optimal. Atmosphère chaleureuse. La situation est idéale, proche de la plage et du centre.

Les photos sur booking concernent sans doute l'autre logement car notre salle de bains était plus datée mais fonctionnelle.

- heel charmante, authentieke villa in typische belle epoque stijl, schattig bloeiend voortuintje incluis erg gezellig, huiselijk, verzorgd en super comfortabel ingericht met veel licht, ruimte en uitgebreide faciliteiten - even charmante ontvangst en bediening door de even bell-epoque gastheer, uiterst zorgzaam en gul met extra verwenningen en nuttige historische en streek-informatie; het ontbijt met home-made confituren is werkelijk delicieus én copieus - erg rustig gelegen, op wandelafstand van dijk én centrum,

geen enkel minpuntje ondervonden, dus ik kom hier zeker graag terug...hopelijk voor meer dan één nachtje en met de gastvrouw terug hersteld!
