Stay here and enjoy the seafood

Really convenient place to stay in Wimereux and great last night in France. Next time we want to try the restaurant. Wine shop and gift shops nearby too!

Expensive hotel for the quality of room.

Great location. Staff absolutely lovely, really kind allowing us a very late check in off the ferry. Car park great and secure.

Very dated room. Bed not very comfy. Noise of running water constantly.Breakfast abysmal. Stale mini croissants, fizzy fermented fruit salad, fruit bowl with black bananas and brown grapes

Only ever been here in Winter but would imagine it’s very nice in the Summer and less quiet.

Location good. Did not have breakfast so cannot comment. Restaurant good. Although we couldn’t have our usual room because of repair works, the room we were offered was comfortable and nice and warm. Shower room small but clean with nice big shower.

Have been staying here for many years now and just feel the bedrooms need redecorating to brighten them up as they are beginning to look a bit tired.

Good location in the centre of town with a few restaurants and bars. Did not have breakfast so cannot comment but restaurant was fine.

There were works going on at the hotel so choice of room was limited and there was a lot of noise coming from works going on next door which started early morning. We stay here every year just before Christmas which has been very comfortable in the past but I now feel the rooms need a little updating. Parking on site although this has increased in price over the years.

Location. Very nice staff. Good breakfast. Room clean, good shower. Big bed.

Room was a bit basic and rather bare. Wooden floor chilly in November. Our room had one small window looking out onto the back of houses. But fine for one night.

Pleasant hotel near to beach and channel tunnel.

It is in a good central location within 30 minutes of the channel tunnel. There was a good selection of evening meals and the breakfast buffet was excellent. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

The car park was very difficult to find so we just parked on the street which has parking meters which are free between 7pm and 9am.

A great spot for a stay off the North French coast. Would book again.

Great location amongst local shops, cafes and restaurants and just up from the seafront. Convenient parking at gated rear car park subject to a daily rate. Comfortable room. Lovely courtyard garden bar area to relax away from busy shops to the rear. Attractive restaurant on site. Useful lift service.

Just one thing ruined the stay. No air conditioning. They might not need it 360 days of the year but the night I stayed was in the middle of a heatwave and the room was a furnace. Very uncomfortable night and got bitten due to leaving window open. Surely a 3* hotel that was 140 EU for one night inc parking should have air conditioned rooms ?

Comfortable and friendly hotel.

Breakfast - I thought the breakfast could be a little better. The eggs were not good and there was no muesli/granola, which I'd say most hotels offer these days. The coffee from the machine was very good however.

In the centre of Wimereux with just a short walk to the beach.

We stayed in this hotel many years ago and it has certainly been upgraded. It is in the centre of Wimereux, we were able to park outside for free on a Sunday. This hotel had tea making facilities unlike most hotels in France which was a bonus.

The hotel restaurant was shut the evening we were there so that wasn't an option. We didn't stay for breakfast.

Freshly decorated and clean. Good for parking. We often stay here when travelling across the Channel and expect to do so again.

It's a shame that the restaurant is not normally open at the beginning of the week, but we booked at Le Carnot down the road, and had a very good meal there.

Overnight jaunt across the water

Room a little "snug" also bathroom but considering age of building very imaginative transformation. Dining room interesting and reception area pleasant. Parking good, lounge bar area attractive. Service was good and staff were friendly particularly liked the phrase that the Lobster was off the menu as it had gone "shopping". Spacious lift. Breakfast choice was good.

Deep clean needed in bathroom visible limescale and drain cover was also in need of clean. One prawn served with meal was deep blue - waiter said it was blood and he had no problem with it. Rather him than me! Lack of serving implements at breakfast buffet.

A gem of a hotel

After two very disappointing stays at hotels in Boulogne and Hardelot earlier in this trip, Hotel De Wimereux came as a delightful contrast.

The only downside was arriving on a day when the road outside the hotel was closed for a market was getting through to the secure private car park.
